I posted a few months back I was vaping 30ml of 7.2mg juice a day. To throw a spanner in Dr F's 'immateriality' I'm now - since last week - vaping 20ml of 3.6mg juice per day, and very happy too.

I guess that makes me one of the special cases then?? thumb up

I've gone from 18 down to 6 and the damn thing is  never out of my mouth, I even take it to the toilet. My next order will be either 18 or 24, it was getting that bad on 6 that I seriously thought about buying 10 cigs which by the way I still miss very much, with regards to flavour I can never tell what the hell I'm vaping as I can't taste any, is there a particular company and flavour that really stands out in flavour, I would really appreciate it if anyone can recommend one. When I started vaping (this time) I was on 18mg in a pen type device. Would get through about 2-3ml a day. Then I found the iStick/Sub Tank Mini combo and had to reduce my nic to 6mg or got dizzy and hyper-reactive. My juice use shot up to about 10-15ml a day. I was mixing home brew by then, and increased nic to 7.2mg, which brought down the use to about 6-10ml a day (depending if it's weekend or work days). I have always chain vaped if I am doing nothing else with my hands. If I use just one tank with a low ohm build (between 0.3 and 0.7 ohms), I use more than 10ml a day. So some of what he says sounds right, but I still chain vape if my hands are free, so my regulation appears to be opportunity.

Try some T-Juice Jaques Le Mon, Red Astaire or Black 'n' Blue.

Try some T-Juice Jaques Le Mon, Red Astaire or Black 'n' Blue.

Krakatoa from ecigarettedepot is a belter too. Have to agree with the Black 'n' Blue

Anything with absinthe in stands out strong, you could try celtic vapours they do a range of absinthe liquids and one of my favourites red (raspberry) absinthe, could be worth you trying them..

I went from 18 to 12 to 6 to between 3 and 6 now depending on the juice.

My juice consumption has risen drastically in the last 6 months but that is more due to change in equipment rather than usage - since I switched to sub ohm devices and lung inhales late last year well we all know they drink the juice like crazy.

For me each drop has largely been due to reduced tolerance of throat hit - I basically have no tolerance at all now (which is odd because when I started it was all about the throat hit) and every time I've found the hit a bit much I've just dropped again.

Ultimately though I think being concerned about the mg of the nic is largely pointless - I'm fairly sure the majority of my addiction is due to the action of vaping/smoking and that hasn't changed at all regardless of what level of juice I'm using - I don't vape anymore than I used to but I certainly don't vape any less either.

And given nicotine doesn't really seem to have any health issues in its own right and I am still addicted regardless, why would it matter what the mg of the juice is (aside from making my home brew nicotine supplies last longer lol).

I started out on 18mg back in January but reduced it down to 12 as soon as I started lung inhaling. I now vape 12mg in a protank or aerotank when I'm at work or out and about or 6mg on my sub ohm gear in the evenings even down to 3 in a dripper. I find anything over 12 I can taste the nic. At the weekend I'll easily do 10-15ml a day but during the week it's about 7ish

I started on 18 mg tried a 24 but was way to strong, within a month was on 12 and stayed on 12 for about 6 months, then dropped to 10/8 now I'm mostly on 3 mg drippers, thanks 6 mg.
Always used about 5-8 mil a day but if I go on a dripper session can hit 15 mil a day.
My aim is to get down to 1 mg dripper and 3 in tanks then 0 but I'm in no hurry.

Was smoking 30 fags aday started vaping at 24mg, dropped to 8mg within months, relapsed back to smoking and was on about 10 a day...cutting down on fags was never possible for me, all or nothing.....now on 6mg with plenty of juice, will be dropping to 4mg next time I mix.

Do agree that's the most important factor but be nice to go out for the day without craving a drug then come home to a nice vape if I fancy it.

i started on 12 went to 6 then 3 in the last 2 weeks iv been on 0 and are constantly chugging on it not that much changed vapeing never gave the satisfaction a stinky had, my juice useage has gone up dramatically from when i 1st started more due to the fact my tanks have got bigger arctic, aspire,starre freemax rather than lack of nic my smaller tanks still get plenty of use to help reduce the amount i get through i thinks its more of a habbit than anything else for me

He is a good guy, actively researches vaping and exposes a lot of the junk science out there.  He didn't say anything that disagrees with what you wrote above, it was not a big deal, but just that the more liquid you consume the more risk, he didn't say it was a big risk, but he and Dr Mayer did say that posting cloud chasing videos is bad for vaping.
