So, I'm holding my new mech mod and loving it. But I need a button top battery. It will take 18350, 18500 and 18650 batts (Gizmo v2 with extension). I want 18500 and 18650's for it, but which ones? I know Sony VT4's are good, but can't find a button top one. I have no idea what 18500's to get. Efest? And if so, which ones? Purple? Red? Confused here. Oh. I'm going to run it at about 0.5-1 ohm.

Keeppower do a good 18350 button top (750mAh), , the AW and efest 18650s suggested by igual are good too. Keeppower do a button top 18650 too. tbh I've hardly used 18350s, a lot would know more than me about the physical fit. Cross reference with the list here allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/post/958359 for limits. 0.5 isn't really that low for an 18350.

Must admit I've never gone lower than 0.8 on a 18350 as it seems wrong as they are so dinky lol. I only use the AW 18350 though.

I vape at the ohmages you mention and the batteries I'd recommend (both available in flat or button top versions) are the Sibeile 18500 (22A). Torchy sells the the Imren 18500 (flat or button) rated at 20A but I haven't tried those.

The new 800 mAh AW red is good to 0.35Ohms, the older 700mAh doesn't get anywhere near that (0.7). I've still got to complete the list and add details as to the top (flat or button) - some, like the keeppowers and some efests come in both flavours.

I have always found that below an ohm the initial voltage drop on 350s and 500s means you don't get the same vape quality you get from a larger battery. Not tried any really high drain 350, but have some Xtar 16.5 A (12 A really) 500s and settled on using them around 1.3 ohm. This is just about vape quality and not safety.

Yep I prefer the 1.2-3 ohm range on my epipes that use the 18350 w protank 2. It's a much nicer Vape quality wise and last longer lol.

You mean these? So long as you get genuine ones you'll be fine. Because of the higher prices Nitecore get these are popular among the fakers. I only get nitecores from nitecore themselves - only way to ensure they're correctly insured. Yes, you're not seeing things, I said 'INSURED'!! If you make a claim say you use them for a torch

I'm only going to use 0.5-1ohm builds, so I think 10A is good enough? This is where my knowledge gets a bit under educated.
