Run into my first problem.. Anyone else have one of these? I'm used to unscrewing the base of tanks to fill, this one seems to be push fit on the 'o'rings, but the coil is screwed to the base and the chimney screws to the coil, anyway took it all apart, ½ filled it & carefully screwed/pushed it back together AND it hissesjuice out of the airflow adjuster!!!
Am I missing something (or just stupid)

Just my best guess.. did you saturate the coils wick with juice before filling, if not it may just be excess soaking juice passing by the wick before it fully saturates with juice??

You could be right phatfil I didn't pre-juice the coil (I never do), I just filled the tank and left it to soak like normal. Seems to be a little better now, no leakage, but what temperature should I set the flask to?

ron I dont know but on my TC mods it never gets to 510, by the time I've had a toot it's around the 400 ish range. I've not burnt the cotton as yet, but I'm not really impressed with TC. I'm happy with me old fashioned coils

I may be way off the mark here, still waiting for my first TC mod from FT, so no direct experience, but I am puzzled.
I understand the advantage of TC for an RDA, where you can't see the juice level, and if you forget to top up, you get a dry hit & burnt cotton. But with a tank system, you can see if you have juice in the tank, and with most modern tanks you shouldn't be getting dry hits ever.
So what's the point of TC on an RTA?

Tho ni200 coil building is a whole new game.. softer and way more mailable metal..

If so you can ditch the nickel and by using the nickel purity feature, run titanium or stainless wire.
