Gearbest advice

just a quicky to ask some advice on Gearbest as its been my first order.

i ordered this bag on 21st June on Pre Order for $25 and payment was taken the same day and paid by paypal on 1st July www.gearbest.com/electronic-cigarettes/pp_197869.html

the end of pre order was 30th june

the order is still showing as processing

now the bag is not pre release it is showing as $21.58 and says delivery within 3-5 days so should i expect some movement this coming week.

all i need to know really is how long do i give it before i send a ticket.

its down as flat rate shipping as i couldnt find an option to expedite the postage like on fast tech so should i expect this to be delivered by rowing boat in about 30 days.

just checked again and i can now see expedited shipping but its $26.71 extra so dearer than the bag.

no panic really but wasnt sure how it all worked from china with all the various options of postage.

just edited the post above as now it shows expedited option but its $26.71 on top of the bag price.

TBH everything I've ordered from them has arrived without issue. Yes it's slow and yes the prices change very often, my guess is the exchange rate ? But that's only a guess.

Hold fast and it will arrive . My standard test is how long I can grow a beard

Who would be an overseas rep on this forum? Not for a grand a day.
British express, an extra £1.50 or so.
It's been 3 business days since the end of the pre sale. What's the point of taking up a rep's time with this just now? Wait a few days.

i didnt intend taking up a reps time so thats why i asked on the forum. ive never used them before and im in no rush for it but was just inquiring about the difference in price (exchange rate has not changed much in 2 weeks) and normally pre sale items are usually cheaper than when they are released and not the other way around. the price is not the issue at all.
when i ordered pre sale there was no option of choosing another postage option, the only one was flat rate shipping. now its released i can see all the other postage options.

forget i even asked and i will check back in a couple of weeks.

I have bought a few things from them and they have all turned up eventually. As others have said, when it comes to all China vendors. Order, pay and forget. In about a month you will get a surprise package. Given the short time scale in this case I wouldn't worry. Chinese warehouse workers only have two speeds. Super fast and extremely slow. After working super fast for five minutes they need a rest, and carry on for the next few days/weeks at extremely slow speed.

Apologies MrDJ , didn't read your post properly. If the price is now lower, get on to them as yours hasn't shipped yet.
There's loads of suitable carry cases for vaping gear on many websites. Even the current price seems a bit steep to me.

i did do quite a long search and this one seemed to tick all the boxes. the price isnt the issue and only mentioned it as normally pre sales are cheaper to get people to order and then when released the price goes up.
