Had a nice surprise today - I received an email reminding me that a currency card I had for use in the USA was due to expire at the end of the month and it still had a small dollar balance on it equivalent to about £30 so I don't actually neeed any new kit but now I have this money that needs to be spent I'm thinking sub tank mini and another istick so off to FT I toddled and have got completely boggled - can anyone tell me what the difference is between this www.fasttech.com/products/2568500 and this www.fasttech.com/products/3006/10012000/3141500 apart from £2 in price I can't for the life of me figure out the difference other than the 2nd one (the cheaper one) actually lists a spare glass tank in the description whereas the dearer one doesn't but shows it in the photos just to add I don't want the vertical coil occ head I would prefer the single coil protanky type coil. I also cannot make up my mind whether to go for the 40w tc istick on the grounds that I miiight one day want to try TC (though I actually doubt it) but reviews are saying its got less battery life than a 30w istick despite being a bigger battery plus it doesnt come in pink or whether to get another 30w or even a 50w decisions decisions

the clone bases i have only have one set of air in hole/slot options while the genuine subtank bases have 2 sets opposite each other on the base.., the clones still have ample in take of air and i only noticed the difference after a few weeks of happy vaping

The only difference with the three mini's I have bought from FT has been the price, all 3 now have checked out as genuine

Thanks everyone - I still haven't pressed "checkout" on my basket - I'm slightly prevaricating as I bought a genuine mini nautilus, genuine coils, the flipping fancy cage etc. and I hated the vape from it and went back to my protanks now I suspect I will like the subtank as its a Kanger tank and I do seem to like those, I can also happily coil my protank heads and this looks just as easy and familiar, and I can even build on an rba deck these days so best of both worlds, I guess I'm just hesitating after the nautilus disappointment and wondering if the subtank is going to be that much better than my protanks running with my own coils and jap cotton.

Love the subtank mini its probably one of the best tanks I've tried. Recently I've also been enjoying the Goliath clone, yes its dual coil but its a cracking Vape as well. Intrigued in this as I'm going to be getting a couple more subtank before years end.

yeah some people say som of the clones are made by Kanger authentic's that haven't passed the qc check or something. Dunno which ones but probably the higher priced clones. I bought a cheap one but it fell apart after a couple of weeks so stay away from them.

I bought SKU 2049704, it has many good reviews. However, mine leaked badly, even after refitting the o rings . Then the battery pin decided to eject itself the second time I dismantled it due to leaking. I am now trying to send it back. On the bright side it vamped very nicely for the 15 mins before I noticed the leakage! Maybe I was just unlucky...

Was using the coil that came in it first time, changed that just in case, then leaked again. Pooling around bottom but also a bit sticky just below lower o ring. Seemed to be the o rings, hence the second attempt. However, it was the battery spring making a sudden and apparently unprovoked exit that made me decide to try for a replacement! I 'm pretty sure that this was bad luck, the reviews of it are really good and only a couple of the many mention problems.
