Looks to me like the chip is not liking something and shutting the board down. If its out of warranty it might be worth a check over to make sure something is not shorting somewhere.

I only received it yesterday from Focalcig......I've spoken to them & also sent the video to their service dept, but I don't particularly want all the hassle of sending it back to Take-awayshire............

I could take a look but the problem is if i cant find the problem thats your warranty down the toilet.

The fact it's fireing up for a moment then reading 0 battery most definitely looks like a shafted board, if it was loose wire to battery , board or 510 it would not do that.
Definitely looks like a component failed on board

What happens if you do that without an atomiser attached chrisjw ? Can you show that the battery is full before you attach an atty?

Only by showing it in the charger........For the brief second that the screen lights up, it shows the battery as empty robby , whether there's an atty attached or not.

Errrm..........That never crossed my mind to be honest DiscoDes....They work fine in all my other mods & it happens whether there's an atty attached or not.
