My so-called best friend is about to try and get me to eat a Carolina Reaper chilli by conning me into thinking it's a humble Scotch Bonnet. He must think I was born yesterday, as if I wouldn't notice the difference But I wouldn't have been looking at the chilli first without a little tip off from one of the lads. Looks like he'll end up disappointed. I'm happy to be called a wimp if it means not eating a reaper without preparing myself. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

Now I know my chillies. Or at least I thought I did. I made a schoolboy error and didn't spot the difference between a scotch bonnet and a komodo dragon. I just munched on the hottest commercially available chilli in the UK and one of the hottest in the world. Somewhere in the range of 1.6-1.8m scovilles according to the chilli farm. Easy. The pain continued to build for a good ten minutes after I munched it, but a stomach lining bottle of Frijj later and I'm fine to get on with today's important business, cider Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

I forgot to add the old, 'don't try this at home' disclaimer, I'm a fully trained idiot!

BrenD have you been to the chilli farm near kingsbridge? Nope, but I'm sure it would be fun. That might've been where the little buggers came from, my mate got then from somewhere in Devon Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards
