Get Off My Cloud that looks fantastic! Might hold off for the first ones to come out and for them to sort any 'bugs' they may come across but that's exactly what I'm after cheers Yeah looks good, 3 choices of board straight away and they say they will be making new modules for other boards, just a question of whether the new fascias etc will be available at a price where it makes sense over just buying a new mod.

It is clever, but not really cost effective from what I have seen the cost of changing board types is as much as a new mod and would rather get a new mod and have to old one for a backup YMMV.

Don't count on it. You're not helping! It all looks so good! Well if it's any indication i said the same as you back in December last year, i want one mod that will suit everything, got my first one at the beginning of January, here i am 8 months later with a collection of close to 50 and i'm still spending time looking for new gear

Get Off My Cloud with the original outlay of the MOD being $200 I expect the fascias to be expensive as well and I know what I'm like, love it for 5mins then want something new. Could end up getting costly and quick. Still a cracking idea though and hopefully it takes off.

Yeah could be, although really it would only be the front panel that would need changing if you used a different board for button placement, screen position and charge port. Maybe the bottom panel too if the charge port is underneath.

If there is such a thing as future-proof then the Whiteout by Cloudmaker is probably going to be the closest thing. Every component on it is supposedly replaceable, panels, buttons, chip, battery sled etc it's completely modular. cloudmakertech.com/I'll be watching this. Nice one Get Off My Cloud . It looks pretty too. No idea how big/small it is though, but maybe that doesn't matter....

Chassis takes a dual 18650 battery sled so won't be a mini device, maybe they'll bring out a chassis for a single 18650 at some point though.

A single 18650 case would be superb.

I look big when I wee Managed to find dimensions on their site 2.48 wide, 4.25 tall, 1.08 thick In mm that would be 62.99 wide, 107.95 tall, 27.43 thick The Sigelei 150w TC for example is 57mm wide, 103mm tall, 25mm thick So not exactly the most compact mod going.
