I had the same trouble with eBay's inconsistent and arbitrary application of their "rules" when I first started doing e-pipes. That's when I started my own web site - so they did me a favour, indirectly. I think theyve indirectly done everyone in this group a favour, might not be here otherwise ;-) Makes you wonder if ebay are being paid by the big tobacco companies not to allow ecig sales.

I know robby...... Its the same with Paypal (unless theyve changed the rules since splitting from ebay), they say your not allowed to buy ecig products using paypal & your not protected if something goes wrong, but we all know £100,000's every week are ecig sales ( & i bet they know it) & I know people have had refunds when something did go wrong....just dont mention ecigs & tobacco.

Searched e-cigs on Ebay, got 3,990 listings and tobacco gave 40,935 listings. Incidentally searching for snuff gives 2,564 listings and those snuff tubes ain't being used for snuff.

The only thing about e cigs I can find on paypal under the acceptable use policy is the following >>>> Click Here <<<< in the table under "activities requiring approval"
As far as I can tell this pre approval only applies to vendors who need pre approval from pay pal to accept payments for e-cigs
I could be wrong though.

I remember about a year or so alot of vendors we're being dropped by paypal because they sold ecig products & they had to find other ways of taking payments, some even had their accounts frozen & they had money in them. The rules also applied to anyone buying them & paypal said buyers wouldnt have any protection if they discovered the sale had ecig products involved, I remember having a little rant about it on the PP forum & telling them I was going to close my account & use someone else.....I know they wouldnt have been bothered about loosing my pitiful transactions (might have been a different story if it had been some of the other members on here who buy stuff nearly every week..lol)......but it made me feel a bit better... ;-) I'll openly admit im quite cynical.....always think the worst & then atleast if your right you expected that & if youre wrong then its a plus ;-)

I always pay for all my ecig purchases on the net with PayPal. Always have done and never had a problem.
