Hi everyone,
Totally new to the whole vaping scene but very curious after doing a lot of research, quit ciggies years ago but moved onto the pipe & cigars, I have recently bought a kit for my missus, it was a bit of a gamble as to whether she would like it so just got Jac's Aero kit and so far she does like it, so I have been thinking of getting something for myself.
I love the different flavours you can get with pipe tobacco as its endless so you can always find something different, so since getting the aero kit I have been looking into the whole vaping scene, all the different liquids etc and have been looking at the various tanks mainly the sub ohm ones as I want the taste factor mainly and from the research I have done on these it seems this is the way to go?
Im obviously not ready for the RBA side of things just yet but always good to have for the future, so I am not sure what tank to get, I first thought about the Aspire Triton, but reviews say it seems hard to clean out if needed, now I have been looking at Kanger Subtank Mini V2 & Subtank Plus but I am open to any others and any advice?
Im not too bothered about massive cloud chasing if thats the right term, more flavour than anything.
Thanks in advance for any help, advice.
Cheers Scotty

Welcome to AAEC. The Kanger Subtank is a decent all rounder, spare parts and coils can be had pretty much anywhere.

Another vote for the subtank mini here, very good allrounder, easy to change coils, and easy to build on when you're ready

I don't know if sub ohming is the way too go really, yes you get flavour and clouds but maybe look more into a aspire nautilus / mini.. These are good flavour and perfect for anyone quitting smoking (mouth too lung) rather than lung hits.. I think this would be a better option and if you enjoy then maybe buy a sub ohm tank to try lung hits. You definatly don't have too sub ohm too have flavour.. If you really want too get a sub ohm tank then you can't go far wrong with the kanger subtank (not that I've got one anymore, just wasn't for me)

Hi lancashirescott and to the forum. Another +1 for the Kanger Subtank range. They all take replaceable coils, or are rebuildable, except the Subtank Nano. The main difference in them is purely how much juice the hold, which obviously affects the size. If you are going to sub-ohm, you need a mod (battery) that can handle lower ohms. Don't try screwing one onto your OH's battery. Get yourself something that it will work on, like a Kanger Mini K-box (Subox).. Good luck

another vote for the kanger subtank also if you don't get on with the sub vaping you can also run them with the 1.2 or 1.5 coils. as a thought as you use a pipe have you looked into some of the e pipes the big lumps of metal don't do it for me but some very nice old school pipes that have been converted to epipes out there.this place seems to do a few epipes www.epuff.co.uk

Good Morning All,
Thank you for the warm welcome and replies.
phatfil, I did have a look at the Smock TVF4 but it seemed a bit more expensive for the coils and with the multiple coils goes through the liquid fast, so thought it might be expensive to run?
B Road Blaster, thanks for the link, I did see a pipe version in JAC store in Leeds but it was huge and did look cumbersome, Im a bent pipe clencher so my pipes are small-ish and quite light.
Im leaning towards the mini, now all I need to figure out is what box?
