I have had this same problems for a few years too, on windows, mirrors, tv screen, car windscreen but worst of all is my glasses, I am sick of cleaning them, I go through loads of them cleaning wipes per week plus Hubby who is not a smoker/vaper is starting to moan about the film on his glasses now as well

Ive got one of these I use in the livingroom..... Convair magicool compact air cooler It cost me £30 from a British Heart Foundation shop, originally bought it to reduce the heat in summer for my geckos, but it serves as dual purpose now.....You dont have to use the cooling feature if you dont want to so can use like a normal fan/air filter...It pulls the air through a filter that is drip fed water in the base & has no problem clearing my livingroom in less than a few minutes of any fog/vapour. Only 58w so its the same as leaving a 60w light bulb on...... You might find one on ebay & now is the best time to buy them as no one wants them during the colder months.

For cleaning windows inside, don a pair of rubber gloves, and use newspaper. Slightly dampen a scrunched up sheet in a bucket of water with a dash of vinegar in, and wash the window with the solution. Then clean and dry the window with another dry sheet of paper until spotless and smear-free. I use this method both inside and in the van, and it works a treat.
The only other proprietary cleaner that gets my vote is good old Windolene, but if you are not careful, it leaves a pinky-white dust after cleaning.

When I'm fannying about building for drippers and whatnot I retire to the kitchen where the extractor hood sits smack bang in the middle of the room above the hob. Turn it up to eleven spinal tap style and you wouldn't even know I'd been there ????

This works for me.


Spent 2 hours this afternoon de-gunking windows, mirrors and pictures . . . . never let it be said I don't know how to enjoy myself on a Saturday afternoon.

I know, that's why I found the tin foil helmet pic I seem to be on my own on this one, still every time I up the VG I don't like it as much and get more smog which is a big negative IMO, I couldn't vape like I want in the family room.
