No postage refund perpy and no communication either. I know she has no intention of refunding my postage now. > And I have no intention of cancelling the transaction. I haven't accepted the refund either. I'm thinking about forwarding her messages to ebay with her promises of a postage refund, followed by the one that says I can't be refunded postage until I cancel the transaction. Sounds like blackmail to me.

Problem is I don't think that there's any obligation for her to refund your postage Anne . . . it's at a Seller's discretion whether they're registered as a Business or not, I could be wrong as it's maybe changed since I sold on Ebay. What does she say in her T&C's? Although she has made a ' gentleman's agreement ' with you though, so you've nothing to lose by forwarding on her emails . . . but I'm doubtful as to what they could actually do. You'd have been no better doing a PP dispute either . . . as they don't insist on refunding return postage, only that you provide them tracking info. Unless that's also changed since my selling days as well. A neg is looking like your only real course of action Anne.

As i see it you have emails from the seller that state that the seller would refund your postage. If the seller does not refund your postage then they have lied to you and ebay should be sent the emails. If ebay has any balls they will or should sort it out.

if they hadn't agreed to pay for postage you wouldn't have sent it back... so you are well within your rights to get it back ....for the sake of a few pence they wouldn't want negative feed back

i don't think some sellers care about getting negatives these days Gordy. i bought a top a while ago and when it arrived it was nothing like the picture, in fact i'd have said it was a different item. I emailed the seller and she said it was the same and my tough luck if i didn't like it but i was convinced it wasn't the same top so i opened a dispute a got my money back. she then left me feedback saying i had stolen her top , unbelievable.

Unfortunately even as a business seller you're not automatically expected to pay return postage costs. Under my T&C's I state that I've made an error I will refund full postage costs both ways, for change of mind then it is up to the customer to pay return postage. Your seller sounds like a total idiot, the mistake is theirs, they've misdescribed the item and agreed to pay the return postage costs. As they've stated they will do I would expect them to honour what they say, unfortunately some people are very dishonest. I doubt eBay will get involved, as you've already been refunded the initial purchase cost and postage costs. I agree with Perpy, your only option may be to leave negative feedback to warn future prospective buyers. Blimey Nicky, you little top thief you

I would neg them. Any resonable person would simply not ask you to return a now used £1.99 item knowing full well it would cost you £1.30 in post. All they would be able to do with it upon return is bin it! They have told you they would refund you the return post cost with no intention of paying. Just neg them And send copys of the emails saying they would refund the postal costs to ebay.

I'll give her until Monday to fulfill her promise. (Joke) Looking back on my feedback left for others, the few sellers I've left negs for are nearly all NARU's now and most had thousands of fb, so she'd better watch out!
