woohoo:) here at last and a nice little mod for the £. Currently got a modified quasar on top and some 16mg DiY jaq le mons. 2 corners I'm going to file/smooth a bit, and the original tube/cap had an air leak where the tube goes in so swapped out and working nicely.

yes. it`s a pity they didn`t finish it off with those two corners and the bottom of the back cover, the rest of the mod is perfectly finished

Sorry for all the delay which caused directly by Kangxin. The last batch finally arrived yesterday, thanks a lot for your great patience.

Just a quick tip if the constant 60W thing is getting on your wick. If you adjust the temp down to about 350F (at 60W) you can get a similar vape to a 20watt vape at 400F. The mod seems to remember the temperature setting okay when you have to change battery or the mod does a reset after a while (the power setting always resets to 60W). If the vape at 350F doesn`t suit adjust the temperature setting up or down to taste It wont burn the cotton, but you can leave the watts at 60W and still get the vape you like.

Been using mine for a few days solid: battery life good with a vtc4 fitted, fires on the button, soft squonk and I've not had the 60w reset happen (TC off/kanthal coil & cotton at 1ohm @ 18w). 5 minutes with wet n dry and the sharp edges are gone too.

I just need a decent 22mm bottom fed dripper now, though the modified quasar is working pretty well (groove cut into insulator as per CC's tip on ukv)

Yours doesn`t even reset to 60W when you change the battery?

Just tried a 1.5 kanthal on mine at 15W with TC off, pulled the battery out, put it back in and straight to 60W.

Oh well! that puts paid to that...shame because apart from the sharp edges & the 60w thing it's a good little squonker - I'm still using the original bottle so not sure how long that will last if it is your only mod (the way I vape I only use it about once a day for a few vapes).
