All is not lost in TC mode, if you turn down the temperature you can get the vape you want and the mod doesn`t lose the TC setting with a battery change etc. Lower TC setting effectively does not give an output of 60W. It gives you a very quick burst when you press the fire button. It works just like preheat on the cheap Mine is set at 320F, is it a cool vape?, no. It`s what I would expect for a 20 watt TC setting. I`ll try and scope it later.

I wonder if they tweaked the chip then as mine was delayed/second batch after the supply issues and it's still not done it; only getting the confirm attie change after battery change/attie removal and tried it a good few times this morning.
The sharp edges are an easy fix. My only concern is the design/construction of the bottle lid & tube so will be sourcing/making something which is a bit more robust hopefully.

Does it have the logo on yours mate? Because the GB stated it would be a plain box....

Mine was bought before the GB (has logo) so could be an earlier firmware.

My DIY fix for the air-leaking bottle/tube: replace the flimsy bottle top with an inner top from an old 10ml bottle (mine was from an empty virtualvapes bottle) cut the tube into 2 piece: a longer one which is fixed inside the new topper using a small o-ring to make a seal (may make this more permanent somehow) a shorter one which is placed onto the 510 squonk pin trim the dropper stem so it fits snuggly in the limited space insert the dropper stem into the short piece of tubing that is now attached to the 510 pin hope that makes sense:

ps: benefit of this approach, rather just drilling the long tube through the new top, is that you don't need to drill/introduce a potential leak and the arrangement makes it much easier to remove/insert the bottle as only the outer tube is moved when the bottle's top nipple is withdrawn/inserted.

Like it , it is a bit of a pain doing it the usual way Personally I unscrew the bottle and leave the cap where it is at the moment but must see if I can find a suitable juice bottle

Mine is the original with the large logo, and it always resets to 60W. The manufacturer must have tweaked it for the second and subsequent batches. I've had no problems with the bottle and as it holds a lot of liquid I don't see any reason to modify it. I use the mod in the forefinger to fire position and hadn't noticed it as having sharp edges. But it is noticeable when I use my thumb to fire it.

Got mine Saturday....it doesn't reset and works pretty good for the money. The juice bottle top where the pipe goes was cut way too big so it didn't push the juice up as air was pushing out around the pipe so I used a grommet from the 510 pin off an old atty and it push fit in perfect and now it works as it should....I think the juice flow hole is a little on the small side if anything. But it works so I'm happy
