How many out there??

I have been on the vaping journey for about 20 months now and not had one stinkie in that time. I just wondered what the ratio of sub ohmers and MTLungers there are. I read loads on the forums about vaping at 0. something while I still like to MTL on a 1.4 1.5ohm coil. I now make my own coils for the 5 Kayfuns I have, make my own juices and do have one direct lung hit tank but still use a 1.4 coil in it although I have dropped my nic level in this tank. Is it just that forum's tend to cater for the vapers that want to try all the new mods and tanks, the temp control and stuff. I have learned a huge amount from when I first looked at this forum and it seemed like a foreign language which I didn't have a clue what everyone was talking about, I have had a lot of help from here and bought LOADS of things from Vendors reccomended on the forum. I am very happy where I am now and have no intention of trying anything else, so how many others feel the same. Not having a go at anyone each to their own and whatever works for you great.

MTL for 4 years.

Direct lung inhales for 1 year.

I can enjoy both, I just find I get more intense flavour from a fairly restricted lung inhale, whatever works best for you is best

iStick 30W x many with Nautilus Minis & Kabuki 510s. I recoil the heads & DIY juice.

Tried 3 sub ohm tanks but too hot a vape for me and I only MTL. Tried TC but too much faffing for me.

Only change in progress is replacing the Minis with Kabukis.

Cheap running costs & a consistently good vape.

I also do both . . . . simply because I enjoy the slightly different vape from them. It's all about keeping the experience ' fresh ' for me, whether it's a new flavour or widget which doesn't necessarily have to be anything expensive.

Yet I've friend who is happy to stay with an iStick 20w, Evod and 3 flavours of eliquid.

Whatever works for you is good.

I would say primarily MTL but I do direct lung with a subtank but then again I also MTL on the sub tank - coils around the 1.8 - 1.2 range and 0.5 in the subtank - I've played around with various tanks and drippers and whilst I will use a dripper for testing flavours, I have always gone back to my trusty protanks and aerotanks with the exception of now having a subtank mini and subank nano on the go as well. 99% of the time I make my own coils and find the kanger heads and the rba deck easy to build on, when I'm in a rush or can't be bothered I have some SOCC and stock coils in my vaping box.

I think the initial rush of needing to try all the new shiney stuff has worn off a bit and I've settled on the set up that works for me it might now be a bit "old fashioned" but I'm happy with it.

im a bit newer to the scene having had a couple of failed attempts withpetrol station cigalikes and ebay ego/ce4 sisha pens, finally about 6 months with real vape gear and i am now sub ohming with drippers, goblins, subtanks, and currently a tfv4 and using nickel wire and off the shelf coils with TC mods again sub ohm,, though i would like to see someone build a 1ohm plus Ni200 coil that would fit in a subtank rba head

probably because the TC mods and sub ohm appeared to be what folk were getting excited about as i joined in??

but the important thing is what works for you and as long as it works its all good..

I only vape directly to lung since I got my first ST Mini/iStick30 setup. Only problem with the newer kit, like the TFV4 tank and Velocity dripper, is that my lungs aren't big enough

MTL all the way for me, sub-ohming I tried and just didn't get on with it - it's too hot a vape and I found it wrecks the flavour of my beloved RY4, so protanks/aerotanks at 1.5 - 1.8 ohms for me....

I like both. Subtanks for when I can exhale a big cloud and appreciate the flavour, MTL with a Nautilus when I can't, like stealth Vaping in the gents at work or in the car when I don't want to fog it up, but my favourite vape is still MTL with a NatureVape Midi Pro on an old - (how quickly things change. Less than a year ago it was the cutting edge new kid on the block ) Istick 20 with Chef's Vapour APC mixed at 70/30

half and half - I've got three DL setups and three (well two now cos I've cracked my Aga T7 glass - anyone know where I can get a replacement?) MTL ones. I find flavour is better from the MTL and volume of exhale is such fun from the DL, that that's ok too. It's a right faff having to make two levels of nic when I mix though!

On a side note - following an fb feed earlier, I clicked on a vendor that only sold eliquid up to 6mg/ml! I've only been vaping 2 years or so, how did I get to be a dinosaur so quickly?

99% of my vaping is subohm I think I lasted about 2 months with ohm+ vaping.
usually lung inhale at 20>30w but depending on how I feel turn the Tc down enough to m2l.
I vape like I smoked, lungs full every time.

terrible isn't it, I wanted some YV Rustard but they only go up to 6mg too. No wonder they sell it in 30 and 100ml.

Mainly mouth to lung for me but i do have the odd lung hit if the right tank is going.
