I just read it and it seems fair enough not throwing toys by any means, GB have a terrible rep and have messed him about a lot. As he said it is only that isabel22 is here to sort it out for that that more people are getting burnt, even then you have to kick up a stink to get things done sometimes. I will miss him for one he was a very knowledgeable and helpful member.

I read it too, while he has every right to complain about poor service he received from GB, I think the others had every right to defend the good service they had received.

I am still a NOOB here and please tell me to tuck my teeth in if there is some sort of precedent or history for the flounce but there was a difference of perception and Car147 imho seemed to take it too personally.
It very easy to hear a lot of bad things about a company because we are programmed to complain when things go wrong. We don't always pipe up when things go right.

I am always very careful about trashing a vendor online, it can destroy their business. I don't worry about mistakes so much, what I care about is how a company offers to make good on their mistakes.

That would have just been the last straw and you can't blame yourself there have been other occasions where people have been ganged up on for airing their views and I guess he just go tired of it.   It is a shame and things get blown out of all proportion and people fall out over thing that they should not.

I have to kind of agree with Car147's view. At times the forum does look like a GB appreciation forum. While I know we do have threads about other suppliers, none get the coverage that they do.

I also posted that I was happy with the service I got on my first orders, but, same as yourself, this was not done to rub salt into things and I would hope it was not taken as such by anyone.

I hope Car147 does decide to come back as he always seemed like a helpful sort.
