Ordered some allegedly authentic SAMSUNG 18650 batteries Came today Buzzin Charged them up and............... straight away "weak battery" Back to torchy then "buy cheap - buy twice" just sayin Cheers Dave What type are they dave?

Bought some green 25r's from them and so far so good Just got unlucky I suppose, but hey a cheap lesson learned I'm not convinced it is, I think Samsungs QC is not what it was, I got some from GB and thought the same and ordered through Samsung shop on Amazon and out of the 2 sets of 2 batteries 1 in each pair didn’t hold or fully charge whether its a bad batch from the factory or luck of the draw I dont know.

im not sure if this is the right place to post this but.
a little warning about ordering from gearbest.
i ordered an ipvd4 from gear best in october, it came 2 days later so no probs with delivery. its all down hill from there. upon reciept of the mod i noticed the poor condition the mod came in. scratches on mod and screen, it looked like it had been used for a month and reboxed. i contacted gear best and with a month of messages back and forth the end result is this. i can return the mod at a cost of more than half of purchase price then recieve a refund for the mod but no shipping cost. that would leave me nearly 20 quid down, or i can keep the mod and i will get 13 dollars credit to spend with them at a later date. the mod was shipped from london so they must have a warehouse there but i cannot return it to there i must return it to china hense the high cost of shipping. i feel that gearbest are using the high cost of returning an item to china as a way of forcing customers to accept poor quality items.
i havent put batteries in the mod yet as i didnt want to use it if i was returning it. just hope it works when i do.
a word of warning if you intend to order from gearbest i hope your item is ok because if it isnt then you will either be out of pocket or have to put up with a poor quality item.
i will not be ordering from gearbest again.

That is pretty crappy greendog Have you sent any pics to them with the damage? I am presuming you mean an IPV4 or an IPV D2? isabel22 ?

That isn't good at all greendog I'd also have thought that anything ordered from their EU warehouse, should be returned there & not have to be sent to China. I have asked them about that before and never got a satisfactory answer.

If in doubt greendog seriously open a paypal dispute with them & escalate to a claim straight away and you will be refunded in full hopefully without having to send it back to China, put in the comments that you are quite happy to send it back to the EU warehouse but not China. Isabel is fantastic in what she does on here sorting out problems but their customer service is awful otherwise.

Had s bit of gear in the EU warehouse basket, but decided to empty it and knock the order on the head. Thanks greendog for the heads up on the situation. isabel22 does go the extra mile to help us out on here, but she can't and shouldn't be expected to account for this piece of devious company policy. Gearbest are competent at one thing, the consistent ability to piss off paying customers.

the mod i ordered was an ipv4s, sorry guys typo error. i have been messaging isabel22 and she tried to help. she suggested i return the mod to the warehouse in london where it came from which i was happy to do but gearbest said no it must be returned to china. i aint really into the name and shame thing but i thought you guys ought to know what happens when things go wrong. gearbest customer service is shocking and will not be recieving a penny from me or my family ( many vapers ) in the future. will defo speak to paypal. its not really the money that gets me its the attitude of gearbest customer service.

While they are looking at this they should look at conantheworrior's post on the Evolv forum, the poor guy has some brain damage after an accident a year ago and probably stresses more then most of use. But he had a bad HotCig DNA 200 and GB would not honour the warranty, long story short, a few of us prompted him to try Evolv and they fixed the mod for free, then after that HotCig read about it and are going to send him a free mod. So it is not like the manufactures are leaving the people hanging it would seem that it is GB being the fly in the ointment. They have a terrible rep on ECF when I posted the HotCig DNA200 offer the response was not positive and I thnk there a couple of other members on the Evolv forum that did not get their warranty honoured. If you are a member of a forum that has a GB rep like we do with isabel22 you are in a lot better position, but a bad reputation is very hard to fix and GB if you are reading IIWU I would try and do a better for all your customers while you still have them.
