I think there are many threads that isabel22 should have shown to her superiors robby. Every order they receive is only a name and address. As far as vape gear is concerned, they will probably be unaware the amount of orders they take are from members of the AAEC Community and word of mouth is a strong tool here that can work for or against a vendor.

Believe me she has striker42 and is often close to tears with all this. She does pass all this on and is extremely frustrated by it. I once told her that I wouldn`t have her job for all the tea in China, and believe it or not she had no idea what I was meaning Not something they say there very often

Absolutely robby and I think that many of us would not still be looking at GB if it were not for isabel22 and in the main members here realise her value, are polite, respectful and appreciative of her efforts even when they are upset with GB. And for those that are not two points: think how you would feel doing that job and feck off you gits.

isabel22, get a transfer to the EU warehouse in London and get it knocked into shape. If you pm letsavit he'll take you a spin round London in his nice BMW and show you how to collect £65 parking fines.

im not sure if this is the right place to post this but. a little warning about ordering from gearbest. i ordered an ipvd4 from gear best in october, it came 2 days later so no probs with delivery. its all down hill from there. upon reciept of the mod i noticed the poor condition the mod came in. scratches on mod and screen, it looked like it had been used for a month and reboxed. i contacted gear best and with a month of messages back and forth the end result is this. i can return the mod at a cost of more than half of purchase price then recieve a refund for the mod but no shipping cost. that would leave me nearly 20 quid down, or i can keep the mod and i will get 13 dollars credit to spend with them at a later date. the mod was shipped from london so they must have a warehouse there but i cannot return it to there i must return it to china hense the high cost of shipping. i feel that gearbest are using the high cost of returning an item to china as a way of forcing customers to accept poor quality items. i havent put batteries in the mod yet as i didnt want to use it if i was returning it. just hope it works when i do. a word of warning if you intend to order from gearbest i hope your item is ok because if it isnt then you will either be out of pocket or have to put up with a poor quality item. i will not be ordering from gearbest again. rant over. Hi, Greendog , I am sorry , and i suggest that you can open the dispute with paypal , let's see how they solve , and i also will feedback your situation , ,if the item you bought in warehouse eu , it should be sent back there instead of China . hope our company will realize it and change it after these feedbacks .

Slightly off topic as it's not vape gear but thought I'd post anyway, ordered the new 'must have' toy for my wee girl from GB, ordered on the 11th, shipped few days later, arrived today. Was a bit worried about customs etc as it was more expensive than my usual purchases but it arrived without a glitch. Thanks Gear Best ! isabel22

I don't think you are being too harsh, but if I was you, I'd reply to isabel22's post (or PM her) to see if she can help you. As I've said several times before, if it wasn't for how much isabel22 goes out of her way to help, Gearbest would have lost their vendor status, a long time ago, on AAE-C.

I don't think you're being too harsh greendog . . . . you've voiced your opinion of a disappointing experience with a company in a polite and respectful manner. Things can and do go awry with purchases, where ever and whatever country they're bought from - how a company handles an issue when things go wrong makes all the difference for me. That said, I do think we all have to be realistic on how any Chinese company handles such problems, in my head it's part of the trade off with being able to purchase equipment at reasonable prices. I'm not saying this is right - but it is our choice on where we spend our money . . . . and if comes down to having to resort to the protection that using PayPal gives, then so be it. In the case of Gearbest isabel22 does an absolutely amazing job for us all on this forum, I have only the greatest respect for this lady. It's a huge pity that the company she works for doesn't appear to give her the required support or work to the standard of Customer service that she herself gives.

Nothing wrong with your post greendog , you were treated badly certainly over the shipping back to China and the crappy refund offers etc. If you buy something in the UK it is totally unfair to expect you to ship it back to China. At the very least they could have sent you a replacement and Yodel could have picked up the bad one while they were at it.

greendog my post #32 was just a general point and not inspired by your posts and reading back there is a possibility you could have taken it differently. I was just expanding the theme from earlier posts that there is no excuse to be rude to customer service people just doing their job. IMO your post are fine, they will not change without pressure and as a community we should share info and solutions.

IMO your post was valid and informative greendog. That is the done thing on AAEC, if there is a problem or a potential issue, its good to let the members know. Your post resulted in me emptying my eu basket and not going through with my order. Being able to return any faulty items to an EU location was a plus point for me until your problem revealed GB require it to be sent back to China, so thanks again for the heads up. As Chrissie has said, isabel22 has been GB's saviour on this forum, but likewise she has been a godsend for some members here regarding sorting out orders. I was hoping as time progressed that things would improve with GB, but it is becoming apparent its like one step forward and two steps back with them. Sadly its a battle that isabel22 can't win alone.
