Still nothing peeps. Get the gigabyte boot screen for the mother board but no f keys work to get me into any menus and then just switches itself off and then restarts again. Thisnis with a ss2 keyboard attatched.
I am running out of ideas here. I dont have a windows disk or anything as my bro installed it all.

Power on this pc and keep hitting the delete button (Del) on the key board. With a Gigabyte mainboard this should get you into the bios settings. Id this works reply and i'll work out the next step.

also depending on the bios, you may be able to overcome the lack of Function buttons by using the tab key to switch focus to options? try ctrl+tab or alt+tab to switch between function screens or menu items.. next thing to look for is a bootable cd/dvd image like a *nix system you can use for h/w diagnostics, to run from a cd/dvd drive the tools im (was) familiar with are over a decade+ behind the times, google turned up a few solutions www.howtogeek.com/howto/31804/the-10-cleverest-ways-to-use-linux-to-fix-your-windows-pc/ for starters using "linux diagnostic tools for windows" as a google search

Does that mean it is a bad hard drive or i need to re install windows 7 which is hard as i do not have it. plug just the hard drive with the operating system on back into the pc and see if you get the boot loop again. if it works fine and boots to windows then one of the other drives is a problem
