only if they don't pay attention to the youtube vids when putting it together.... I wouldn't call myself a professional or even consider myself "good" at computers but I have been building and fixing them for well over a decade and at one point in my youth even designed and built circuits to run the cpus's in (but that was a work project) as for dodgy software, ive run my fair share of it in the past (because windows 95 cost over £300 and office 95 was over £1200 retail ...)I found though cheap ways of getting legal software in more recent years, one top tip if you have kids is to look at places like www.software4students.co.uk/educational-school-software-licensing which do knockdown prices sometimes on stuff, I got 4 copies of office 2010 and 4 copies of windows 7 (pro full licences) for less than the price of a single retail copy of win7 home / although that was several years back, when win8 upgrade offer came out (free with windows mobile phone) I got the legal upgrade pack for the not so cosher copy of 7 I obtained from ebay with a hard drive... then bought a bunch of upgrade win8 pro licences through amazon for the rest last year when they were listed at £15 each but I can honestly say I've never left a pc I put together for someone and there have been hundreds (well thousands if you include the workplace build and deployment stuff) without all of it working fully, that's just slackness /
