I really like my Lave Tube, I find I get a really consistant vape! I'm happy using standard boge cartos, but if I try to up the voltage above 4.4, they tend to burn What do others use on their VV mods at higher voltage?

I use cartos too but you gotta put juice in it first #icon_rofl# serious though i like the tanks they keep the cartos moist and suffer less burning however i think the d/c cartos are restricted on the lavatube and my best vape on standard cartos is about 4.2 but i guess it depends on juice flavour

RTA and CE2 in a tank are both excellent at high power although since both have top coils it can get really hot and you have to be careful not to burn your lips. I've used Mega dual coils at 5 volts and they handle it well also. Dripping or using a drip on demand system like DOD or the Vapemate with Standard resistance attys can also be good at higher voltages.

Lol Collie I'm usually happy with 4.2 but due to the unseasonably nice weather I've been vaping outdoors and outside I don't seem to get the same hit, so I've been trying to up the volts! Tanks probably are the answer, but I'm fickle, like to change flavours 2 or 3 times a day

A rebuildable The standard res boge should be good for 5v though, are you using it in a tank?

No, I do have a tank with a sr boge in it, it's bril. Perhaps I just need more tanks to change flavour? Not sure about rebuildable things, i'm not very technical

I've found I can vape quite happily at 4.7v with standard boges. I am waiting on Vision egos coming from china. I do think they will be better as you can fill them with juice & good to go. Haven't actually got any other tank system. Going to start with the vision ones & work my way up

Interesting Hissie, perhaps I'm just not filling the cartos properly?

I initially fill using the condom method, then once I sense the carto is getting bit dry, I re-fill using the same method.
After the second fill, I only need to direct drip. Usually about 7 drops as & when needed.
Although when using the condom method or direct dripping, I leave the carto a minute or so just to soak in the juice.

Can't go above 4.5v with boge on a LT either, just tastes burnt, no matter how wet the filler is, or which juice I use. Taste is subjective though, so I keep getting told, so what tastes burnt to me, might be fine to someone else, or maybe even better... but I don't like the taste, tastes exactly like it does when the carto dries out too much, except the carto is still soaked.

i use boges quite a lot of late. and i tend to vape between 4.9 & 5.3v on the provari, with no burning taste. im using the boges that are 2.7-3.0 ohm in a tank and for me its a really nice vape

I have been having the exact same issue, I have tried the Stardust but they are a tight drag and I don't get the hit I want, even at 5.5 (I have tried 3 separate tanks), the Boges are great but you really need to keep them juiced up to stop potential burning but are good as an every day, recently I bought some of these from Jason: www.vapeescape.co.uk/dual-coil-cartomisers-%28single%29~13And they are fantastic even up to 6.0, even better because they are see through so you can check visually what's going on with the juice. They are slightly larger as well so a bit more juice than the Boge.
