Good on ya catface26, but I personally don't like pocket/handbag (or in my case Sporran ) held units. Mine goes on a lanyard and stays there all day. Whether I'm working in the garage, garden or driving, it is right there and ready for use. Having to stop what I'm doing to fill with juice or faff around changing batteries is not on my cards. Each to his/her own.

It has increasingly become obvious to me that what we all seek from our e-cigs is more to do with matters and lifestyle outwith our vaping rather than advances within the vaping industry.
Some types of mods, e-juice flavours, wattage and convenience will suit some folks better than others and while some of us swear by the "advantages" or "satisfaction" gained by some products, others will find these not to their taste at all.
For 400 years we smoked only what the manufacturers gave us to smoke. Now, with vaping, we the consumer can pick and choose our own ways, flavours and amounts and we all should revel in that choice.
Long live our ability to have Freedom of Choice!

Was reading this thread yesterday and had a bit of an experiment, dug out the SCA squonker which has a 1.8 kanthal coil in it and put it up against the Kangxin VW TC squonker with a 0.09 ohm twisted nickel coil in it. I am a flavour junky and I have to say the SCA Sbody 15W squonker with it`s stock, very basic atty has much better and smoother flavour. Cant put it down now lol. In love again

Long live our ability to have Freedom of Choice! Here, here, lobeydosser!! There is so much choice now, at least for the next few months!, and we can all be satisfied in different ways. Personally speaking, I have recently purhased two 2 x 18650 mods so that I can vape at higher wattages without needing to worry about changing batteries. If you are happy with your set-up, there is no need to change. Every new style of vaping comes with its own compromises, and although I would urge you to try a sub-ohm tank when you get the chance (even just so that you can discount it in future!), if you are happy, vape on my friend! P.S. my OH and I are going to sit down and go through some seed catalogues in the near future to start planning our sowing timetable for the spring. I know you are ahead of the game and have some things already started, but we decided that we would start in the New Year

You only need to look at recent products to know most of the big players are focusing mainly on subohm.
People must generally prefer it otherwise I don't see how they could justify the focus. I'd be curious what you guys think.

Everyone to their own.To me sub ohm panders to the show-offs that like to put big clouds into the air.I know this is not true of all sub ohmers but it will be one of the things that go against us as a group(irrisponsible clouding).Like as been said earlier for me satisfaction, flavour and durability are all I want.Four years ago I stopped SMOKING and for that I am very happy

I'd just like to add that sub-ohm vaping does not automatically mean "cloud chaser". Cloud chasing is almost considered an art form because it's surprisingly complex to achieve. It's not just about buying a sub-ohm tank and a powerful mod. It involves all kinds of elements such as very low resistance builds, customising drippers by drilling extra air holes, using 100% VG and a myriad of other techniques.

Yes, a subohm setup does produce considerably more vapor than an above ohm setup but that's not why all of us do it. I only throw clouds at home and if im outside in appropriate places. If I'm walking through town I'll take shorter puffs or use a mouth to lung setup. Showing off has nothing to do with it

<<<P.S. my OH and I are going to sit down and go through some seed catalogues in the near future to start planning our sowing timetable for the spring. I know you are ahead of the game and have some things already started, but we decided that we would start in the New Year >>> Going off topic, chykensa, All my Onions are up and I have 20 out of 30 Broad Beans just sticking their heads above the soil. I am hoping that Santa will bring me a Heat Propagating Mat and a Thermostat for Christmas to go with the Shredder I got for my birthday. I even have the beginnings of a fancy MOD Stand for the greenhouse but that is still drying out as it is a wedge cut from a tree that was brought down a month ago. In the meantime I am painting the tubs that will hold our Rhubarb. This is, at present, being grown on in pots. I have already bought all my veggie seeds for next year. Unfortunately I bought all of these from Thompson & Morgan, but due to a rather bad experience we have recently had with this firm, I will be buying all future purchases from another supplier. Oh well back to Sub or Above!
