Hi all!
I have made my firt coil for the Subtank mini around 1.9Ω it worked fine yesterday evening no leak at all but today morning I had a half an hour walk to work and a half tank of juice went to my pocket through the airhole.
Any solution? I may needed to use more wick or can it be anything else?
Thanks for the reply

Which coil head are you using?
RE-wicking a "normal" head or using the RBA?

yeah you probably need a bit more wick. For something so simple they can be proper pains to get right.

+1 for the above ^^^^
Wicking is key if you are using the RBA. I have lost juice due to excessive leakage, but with perseverance you will discover the right amount of wicking material to pop in, and then you will be fine!

This is how I wick the subtank. Never had any leaks.

I see it's a V2 RBA, make sure the wick is tight against both juice holes, no gaps when you put the lower chimney on. I use tweezers to place each side of the wick against the holes then juice it up and then double check no gaps before assembling tank. Also make sure your wick covers the full width or the juice well I.e. From coil screw to cool screw across the way.

Not sure I agree with placing the wick against the holes. The wick should be slightly away from the holes to let the juice in. The little shelf that the wicks are sitting on in my pic above is what becomes the juice well when the chimney is put on.

Just to throw a curved ball in, I don't wick my v2 rba's anything like that. When I first got them I had no idea how to wick them so I pull the wick through the holes in the side of the chamber (which is tricky at first but you soon get the hang of it) then cut the wicks about 1-2 mm outside the chamber, I never had any leaks and it's a cracking vape.

Fair enough if that works but that certainly isn't how its designed.

The little shelf that the wicks are sitting on in my pic above is what becomes the juice well when the chimney is put on. if the hole is open the juice will fill the chamber until it starts to drain out the airflow hole through the base of the deck, you have to obstruct the flow and the wick works well for that, in fact so long as its sucking the juice in from the tank it really doesn't matter if it lets a drop into the base of the deck or not, the idea of pulling the wick through the sides of the rba through the coil and out the other side is a decent one and I dare say pretty simple to achieve, if you leave a small amount dangling down on the outside of the deck it will also soak up those last few drops from the tank and reduce the waste when its time to refill it will also leave the deck generally cleaner when its time to renew the wick or coil (getting the wick through the coil then through the outer holes would probably be easier than threading it from one side through the middle and out the other) which will save time and mess and generally be a boon i'll give it a go next time I redo mine and see how difficult it is

Mmmm I'm beginning to see that, I just assumed it would be like recoiling an occ head and did it that way, I've got a few of the v1 rba's and wick them in a similar way to how you do the v2 but the v2 doesn't have juice channels at the bottom, ah well you live and learn.

It's actually pretty easy nanotm I feed the wick through the coil with the body off then twist either end to a point (wick needs to be fairly long) then thread one end then the other through the holes in the side fit the body then top cap- bingo. Never thought of leaving the wick long to pick up more juice I just refill when it gets near the top of the side hole.

Not trying to be a dick or anything.
