Long time no see folks! I really want to try to get back on the road with eCigs. Is there is a shelf life for the liquid? I have quite a few bottles that have been around for a long while - I think either March or December 2008 Is there any danger if I continue using or would I best to re-stock. I notice that TECC currently have a sale so may need to take advantage of that?! I still have the mini and think I'll stick with that again for now, just in case I lapse - again! Thanks in advance

Good to see you again Eyes (I'm not really here as I'm having an early night off ) Shelf life of e-liquid is supposed to be about 2 years. Not sure if there is any danger of vaping it past that time or whether it just loses it's flavour. The TECC sale is well worth taking advantage of. Full price, they tend to be dearer than others, but at the moment I can't find anywhere selling cheaper. If you do want some new juices though, check out Paradise Vapes. James' juices are fab & as an added bonus he will make you smile paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/index.php/cName/ejuice

Oh, so you're sleep talking then Chrissie - LOL!
Many thanks for the response. I have tried a few puffs with the old liquid and not having any adverse affects (yet?).
I seem to have lost a couple of my eCigs, so think I'll stock up.
Will definitely go and have a look at Paradise vapes - thanks for the link.
Now off to bed with you!

I am sure someone with a chemistry background will maybe dismiss what I have to say BUT In my opinion and experience there is no danger whatsoever with old juice what MIGHT happen is a loss of flavour and OR loss of nicotine strength ...... I have been mixing e-juice BY HAND for a while now and my mentor Dawn at DIY Flavour shack has been doing it for years So I think I can say I am experienced lol James

I keep my 'spare' bottles of juice in a box in a cool place, I think I read somewhere that that helps prolong its life. I'd be completely happy to be guided by James as he's the chap in the know.

Dekang (who ought to know) recommend storage in a cool dark place. Their liquid comes with best before dates aroud 18 months in the future too. I've used 12+ month old juice and it has been fine

Thanks everyone for the confirmation of Chrissie's thoughts James - I put in an order last night, so look forward to trying a couple of new flavours!

I'd agree with James. If it tastes OK, then go with it. The only change as far as I'm aware of can be to the flavour, and possibly the nicotine strength (although I haven't had this confirmed scientifically).
I put use-by dates on all Cloud9 E-liquid and my recommendation for storage is a cool dark place, NOT the fridge.

Lol @ Chris A cool dark place would have been in my case the oven, but I had it removed as it cluttered up the kitchen.

It could be too cold Hissie Sorry couldn't resist! But seriously that could be the case if the juice goes below a certain temperature it could kill lovely stuff in the liquid.
