Like Windows 10 . . . . think I'll wait for any cons to be ironed out and to get some solid feedback on how good/bad/indifferent these coils are. For those of us who don't enjoy coiling, or can't be ar$ed - they could be a perfect solution. At a lesser cost would be good . . . . .

Interesting - I will be following the timeline of this new technology with keen anticipation that one day winding coils etc. may be a thing of the past, like the Cartomiser!

At this kind of price or even £30 - £40 it will take me a good while to swap over to my current 6 to 7 tanks on the go with all my different flavours.
Great idea though

£80 for a one off payment + cotton - which most of us have kicking about anyway. Stock coil = £2.50-£3 (inc postage) - £80/3 = 26.67 - so say 6 months of stock heads at one a week This coil offers a years 'guarantee' - even if the cCells are 'safe' and last 2 weeks that's the break even point. If and when this drops to the £50 price point or below - it has started to make savings for the average vaper. Really hoping that they come to the Shenzhen Ecig Expo so i can try one out

Im no technician but i would have thought that if you have 2 bits of wire dangling out of this chip as soon as you put power through it the wire leads will pop like fuse wire. Just the same as a .5 ohm coil lead, or even thicker for no rez, not a problem

Just spotted this on YT - seems that at least one has escaped into the wild. The dude isn't exactly following the 'inventors' instructions - but seems interesting.
So the tank is bottom fill - looks pretty big - not just ml but maybe wider diameter than 22mm?
Also assume that this is a pre-production model.

Looks like one of those fuses that goes in cars, hope it'll be easier to replace though (and if it is a fuse, poundlands your place, dont need warranty lol).

Just re-watching the YT vid i posted and noticed that the bloke mentions testing the materials of the coil "Here at corporate" - which sounds very interesting Definitely a Pre-production model too by the sound of it too

This looks very promising!, I agree with what everyone else has said it will be cloned in no time. It looks identical to a car fuse that is enclosed in some kind of "safe" heat conducting material that will be penny's to produce on mass.
Will be interesting to see this in some kind of RDA build rather than tank.

More YT - featuring the CEO of Origin vapes who are the 'first' planned retailer - does go on a bit but more info - Warning Adult Language I agree with the host - it's a different business model and the price - even at £100 for a one purchase device - is understandable
