Well done for being able to share that RangersBillyBoy it's hard to talk of a loved ones passing it's 6 years since my little brother was taken from us and I still can not talk about him without tearing up. On the topic of ghosts/spirits I was never a believer but since my brothers passing I've experienced 2 strange happenings the first was a few months after we lost him we had gathered all the home videos and had them put on disk me my sister and partners decided we would have a day of watching back all the recordings so my brother-in-law stuck the dvd in and everything stopped working tv dvd computers all froze it was like he was telling us not to be sad. The second was my dripping bathroom tap it never dripped before but one day while sat in the bathroom having a bad day (crying alone) my tap started to drip I never thought anything of it and just turned the tap tightly off a couple of days later and again having a bad day it started to drip again only this time when I turned it off it didn't stop so I talked to him and told him not to be sad for me and the dripping stopped I've put this one down to me wanting it to be something but most likely was just a drippy tap but strangely it's never happened again. I'm sat here tears tripping me even just typing this

What an interesting thread, I am really enjoying reading peoples experiences; thanks for sharing them. From what I have seen of RangersBillyBoy so far, the last thing I expected was a serious thread, so to you for starting it. I am open minded about it all and find it quite fascinating, I have never experienced anything myself but I know people that have.

He had gone to NEW ZEALAND on his retirement , To see family. He went for 6 months. 3 months went bye. I was in bed and woke up and could see a face in my curtains, It was a girls face. I got up ill the next day. The next night I saw a man in my curtains. I cried. I told my hubby I felt some thing was wrong. I the morning My Brother knocked me up at 7.30am to tell me he had died. Life is strange.

Well I'm a very serious person in real life whilst working therefore it's nice to have a release valve. It's also nice to bring a smile to some people's faces on occasion if I accidentally manage to post something comical. The world we live in is a very serious place.

Speaking of dripping taps. A week or so ago I was woken up at 03:27 by an odd noise. I got up and discovered every tap in the house was on full blast. That's ten taps. Every morning since I've woken up at....yup 03:27. True story. However there is nothing I can link this time to yet. This is the reason I post so much drivel before most folk have even considered waking up.

Please don't think I was being condescending with my "well done" it certainly was never meant like that. Ok I've tried explaining myself about 20 times now but my backspace is tired like me going to try and catch another hour or so.

My 'well done' had nothing to do with anything your wrote I promise. I just couldn't think of two better words to give you praise with. The great Sir Alec Ferguson said 'well done' are two of the most important words you can say to anyone.

I often hear "oh it's ok, you must be tired/stressed/poorly/incapable/useless" etc.

I certainly took no negativity at all. I realise I can be a juvenile buffoon (I love that word.)

Never been able to shake the experience I had when I was a kid and saw my granny sat att end of my bed. Everyone put it down to the fever I had but I know what I saw. I really do hope there is something there after we re gone, if for no other reason than to see my mom again and give her a big hug and tell her how much I missed her
