Not doubting any of your experiences but sorry i find it all b...... just really not a believer at all to me when your gone your gone end of. Not picking any arguments here just you have your views i have mine. The question is: what would it take for you to believe? I don't believe in Heaven or Hell but I believe in energy.

Im not what you might call a believer, science is my passion and someone's empirical evidence will undoubtably make for a lively conversation imo. Saying that. I would never dismiss with poor rhetoric what people have either witnessed or experienced as I wasnt there at the time it happened. We are all sentient beings, most are able to process life with the 5 senses afforded. But I would be very hesitant to say there isnt anymore to learn or comprehend when it comes to things we dont know with the senses we currently have.....

This is a very educated and measured response.

I do find it telling that many recollections centre around very emotional times. I can't help but think subliminal imagination plays a part. I don't mean to criticise at all but as a non believer I like to think there is an explanation for most things.

I have regularly collected evidence at lots of 'haunted' locations here in Cornwall. Anyone who lives here will know about Pengersick Castle, Bodmin Gaol, Treslothan Woods and various other places These are well documented places.

Not picking any arguments here just you have your views i have mine. The question is: what would it take for you to believe? I don't believe in Heaven or Hell but I believe in energy. Likewise. I have yet to see/feel/experience anything paranormal first hand. But having several people so close to me that have had ghostly/paranormal experiences..and would not lie to me...i do believe in the paranormal malarky. Infact ive always been interested in it. Ive so many witness accounts i could say but id be here for ages lol. My mum has "medium" qualities as did my nan. Quite scarey the amount of things they have said over the years. My nan bless her is no longer with us. My mum has seen a single white feather every single birthday of my nan since she passed away. I have been with her on several of these occassions so ive seen it myself. Thats a cooincidence? My step dad who is one of the biggest non believers your ever come across...nearly died from Siticosis many years ago. He "had a dream" when on his death bed in hospital, that his grandad came to see him...smartly dressed and everything was pure white in background. All he said was "your not ready Jim..go back to your wife and kids" and then faded away. It from from that moment he came round made a full recovery. And for my step dad to say that really means something. Even the doctor/nurses said that that sort of thing is very common when people are that ill and that they thought he wasnt going to make it.

I'm really not good with err words or as how to express what i'm trying to say, i just have never seen or have found any real proof that any of these things people say they have seen or felt are real. i have seen and read things about how this place or that place is haunted by a "good" sprit or a "bad" sprit but at the end of said book or show there is never any real proof. These is a lot of top end scientists with very big budgets working on different theorys on the sort of things and not one has ever proved outright that there is such a thing as sprits/ghosts. All i see is said people sat/walking about in a dark gloomy place then hear a bit of wind or a water drip shit themselves and run around like headless chickens then say did you feel that there is x y or z in there but where is the proof.
sorry but as said in first post i don't want to ruin the OP's thread so sorry if my views annoy you as thats not what i set out to do.

B road... your not coming across as rude mate relax We are both similar in that we havent experienced anything (yet) ourselves first hand. So without seeing it yourself then its hard to believe isnt it. For that i certainly dont blame any non believers for thinking that way. I only believe because of so many people close to me have had crazy experiences that i chose to believe. As i know they wouldnt BS me.

Real proof not just a well i'm sure i felt this or that sorry i.m really not trying to piss people off here just my views on it all. i grew up living right out in the sticks next to a graveyard that is a "know" site of ghosts and siteings a lot of locals would not go anywhere near the place in the dark. yes don't get me wrong coming home at 3 in the morning half pissed with the wind and rain giving it hell it was not the most welcoming of places, but haunted i don't think so.

I dont disbelieve that people are 100% sure they have felt something but there is never any real proof they just had that "feeling" i suppose its a bit like deja vous.

Emm...well they do...they have seen it! Smelt it! Felt it! Thats the proof THEY have. They just cant prove it to us.
