Same here Bren . . . . and that was far from straightforward. It didn't quite come to a resignation letter being submitted, but it was a definite maybe at one stage!

IIRC there was a post on the VF faceache page saying it would be November before they started to plan it. There was also a post dated 14th January looking for volounteers to help. Now, unless I am a Fasttech basket full of stoopid, would a venue and date not be first on the list of things "to do" ? If VF is going ahead this year, IMO, somebody, somewhere, knows when and where, but are playing cloak and dagger with the information.

I have figured out a way to find out. Hopefully I will have a sort of answer tomorrow. I have emailed the showground and asked if I can book in my caravan for that weekend. When not in use they allow caravans and tents on there for £15 per night. So if they say the site is full that will give a good indication that something is happening that weekend. Of course it may be a different function, but worth a shot.

That sounds like a plan Bob. I'll email and ask if I can book my caravan in the next weekend. Only problem is I don't have a caravan....................................but they don't know that.

To be fair, its probably not confirmed their end. I just can't take the risk of missing out on the boys holiday. Availability was limited when I looked so had to jump in and book
