I've booked holibobs for the kids and me in august. Needs to be school holiday times due to work and school. Hopefully the two won't clash but I need someone willing to take this on if it does.

Well, kids have priority this year in my case so I'm booked slap bang in the middle of the 7 weeks. Tried to get dates from ukric but none forthcoming so whatever happens, happens

Probably rules me out too then because I'm away the middle 2 Saturdays in August, so only here for the 6th and the 27th.

Happy to chip in a tenner - whether i'm able to go or not - won't be back from China until July-ish and should be off again at the end of August - so will definitely depend on dates and where me next contract takes me and when that starts

I've gambled on it being the 6th, I've got little or no chance of getting any more time off in August.

I'll keep an eye on the West Mid website, hopefully they'll have the dates for their Sunday car boots up soon as that'll narrow it down a little more.

To be honest 'if' the venue has already been booked, I really don't see the need or purpose in keeping it secret every year - it just means that a lot of people miss out who have to book their holidays early (a lot of companies run a first come first served booking system).

Of course if it isn't yet confirmed then there's nothing to tell

Same here Bren . . . . and that was far from straightforward. It didn't quite come to a resignation letter being submitted, but it was a definite maybe at one stage!

So I'm stuffed if it isn't.
