Hey, I'm personally not a fan of the Samsung batteries. I always buy Efest they come with the scratch panals so you can make sure they are genuine and they are bloody good batteries. I buy the 3500 mAh ones. I get mine from here:- linkMight not be the cheapest but the service is great.

nkon.nl is the best place for batteries IMO. It's a bit slow as the guy gets swamped. Could take like a week for delivery, but it's cheap and he only stocks authentic batteries. www.nkon.nl/samsung-18650-inr18650-25r.html It cost me £17 for four including shipping.

Efest doesn't make batteries they buy them from other people and re-wrap them, Samsung at least make their own kit and badge it according the batch test or sell them on unwrapped to people like Efest that then wrapper them up having maybe tested one .....rather like all theor former business names having "fire" in them..... its safer to buy either vtc4's hg2's 25r's or 30q's or email norb or torchy tell them your mod and buy the batts they recommend for it (you can hedge your bets and ask them both) sure they will put their most expesnive item at the top of the list (who wouldn't) but they will list all the other stuff that's "safe" to be used from their stock list.... I also would be hesitant to buy from any store that's got a "good price" on batteries because unless there a massive import company there is no way they managed to secure a good price from the factory for genuine items.....this is further indicated by the special conditions for battery sales where the majority offer zero warranty after the item is first charged and used...

I feel like that was somehow directed at me, but nkon.nl are well respected on candlepower and reddit and have an excellent reputation. Though I will say you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere cheaper than nkon for authentic batteries.

To be honest the first batteries for vaping I brought were Samsung and they were crap! Fakes maybe? I guess I was unlucky but the lifespan on them was terrible and they heated up something terrible, I replaced them with Efests based on a recomendation and I've never had a problem.
I'm kind of a "if aint broke dont fix guy", but I'm always happy to take anyones advice and information on any products I buy. I'll give Samsung another shot next time I need some. My phone and TV's are Samsung so it didnt put me off the brand completely.
Cheers.

to be fair the efest units were some of the best and most widely available for a while since they bought in such large numbers, unfortunately there product line has been infiltrated, the 25r's I have (got from pure mist) last longer than the vtc4's I have (from GB) in the same mod, I have ordered more 25'r(from GB and FT) and some 30q's (torchy) to make comparisons as there all "safe" for the mods I have but I was hopeign to get some hg2's or he4's unfortunately everywhere is out of stock on them and a little research tells me the factory suffered serious setbacks in futher production runs when the harbour blew up and their materials shipment became a crater in the ground ..... hopefully that situation will be remedied in the coming months but for now I will stick with the stuff I have but I don't really expect the situation ot improve much before april (availability) and its lead to re-wrap companies like Efest utilising available lower grade stocks for several months and indeed that problem has pervaded into the UK market with several re-wrap businesses suffering similar setbacks as we can see from the lack of availability and indeed the safety recalls .... of course the suppliers with the fastest restock times will be in china but I wouldn't expect hughe quantities the world needs to be available for a while, particularly as so many were hovered up to be used in those exploding "hover boards"

Samsung 25R are very popular and are a good battery as long as it's genuine. I have bought a few of these from Torchy on ebay along with Purple Efest 18650 and 18500 batteries and all perform very well Mine were bought prior to the Big Bang though so as said, finding good stocks might be more difficult to find for a while.

Efests used to be mainly wrapped vtc4's, now they've been using 10 amp crap and saying they're 30amps and all that balls. The vtc4's were 2nds as in didn't make the grade too.
My samsung 25R's by far handle crazy low ohms builds effortlessly, well trusted in the cloud chasing community. There are others from LG sanyo etc but I can't remember which ones off hand.
There's a guy called mooch on fb, also on some forum, he does a lot of testing on various batteries and has a lot of good info, charts etc.
