Crikey lobeydosser! That's not much giving up at all! I gave up smoking at least ten times.....

Then there was:
give up drinking, 20+
Give up gambling, (that worked second time)
Give up drugs, (gave up lots, still get tempted now and then, plus may be off to Montego Bay soon)
Gave up life once (was saved, thankfully)
Gave up chasing women, (well, maybe that is not an option anyway)
Gave up too much to stop eating!!!!!!!!

Och tim, I'm sure I could think of a few more, but it is getting harder to remember them all these days.

I know I have given up chasing the wife round the bedroom.
Eventually she started going slower and by then I had forgotten why I was chasing her.

Well one of the claims of the 5:2 book is that fasting prolongs the onset of Alzheimer's so hopefully that will help me to remember.
Then again, maybe I will not want to remember!!!!

What I would find hard would be watching my hubby tuck into some mac cheese, or roast dinner while I sat drinking some green vegetable smoothie

How are you finding cooking for your wife lobeydosser on fast days and not eating it yourself?

When I am on a Fast Day, SWMBO tends to just want a cup of soup or a sandwich, simple things, so no problems there.
Also, although I am on this regime, we still tend to cook for 3 or 4 even although it is only the two of us, so there are always full meals (leftovers) in take-away plastic dishes in the freezer ready to be defrosted for a "one person meal".

It is going to take us some time to get properly organised meals wise, but we are doing okay just now.
