Hi all,
I'm after a new charger for my 18650 batteries.
The one I currently have charges a single 18650 battery at a time. It works fine but its not particually quick. It can take about 7 hours to charge 1 battery. The batteries I have are Efest 3500mah.
I've heard differing oppinions on chargers some say faster charging destroys the battery but I'm hoping to improve on 7 hours if possible.
Any recomendations would be greatly recieved.
Thank you

I'm sure the experts will be along to give you their thoughts Toddy . . . . I've just bought one of these as a back up, back up: www.fasttech.com/p/2288701So I may sob if it doesn't meet with their approval.

I have the xtar vc4 and it takes about 2 hours to push 3 batts from 3.6v to 4.2 when run from my pc's usb port, the mains version is apparently quicker but I like the way this one works since I have the pc running anyway www.gearbest.com/chargers/pp_160440.htmlas you will see if you look around the site they also do the nitecore d4 for £17, when I purchased the xtar it was only £12 though which is why I bought it over the nitecore /

The Nitecore 4 bay charges are fine, but slow, I would look for one that can charge all bays at 1 Amp like the Xtars above, they are not the fastest, but 1 A is probably as fast as you want with EFest batteries. I use 2 A with Sony VTCs and Samsung 25Rs and they only raise by 10 C temp and charge in 70 & 90 minuets respectively. A recent thread about the same allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/61454/chargerThere is also an AAE-C guide linked in my footer.

if your desperate to get the batteries then either torchy (ebay) or puremist (vape shop) sell pairs of 25r's for around a tenner or if you can wait a few weeks get them from gearbest 4 for about the same price (all have genuine cells in my experience) I bought some from other places but they just don't work properly so I wont be doing that again /

XTAR or NiteCore, just like batteries, don't skimp on the charger or you're more likely to face the wrath of dodgy wiring and non-existent safety protection.
