My first car bought by my hubby to be back in 1984 was a Datsun Cherry 100A. He didn't want to learn to drive so it was up to me. Past my test in 1985 and I think I am on my 17th car  I have had three Triumph Dolomite's which I loved, two Sierras, three Peugeot 405's, one Brown Lada  Fiat 127 that I had ended up having to jump start every time I got in it  Vauxhall Viva, Vauxhall Cavalier, Hillman Hunter, Ford Escort, Fiat Punto and latest one Peugeot 307 phew never had a brand new car though and doubt I ever will  Jules |

Citroen BX, it was a horrible car but all I could scrape up enough for at the time, presently on a Skoda Fabia at least it's new and very good on fuel and either no road tax or £20 either way it beats £180.
