GregB - £1 Violetblade - £1 River £1.00 marksixysix £1 Count me in as there is always one to spoil it for the mostly honest people out there. I do ask for f+f on my for sale posts but don't expect it from people as it is a matter of trust, especially if you have not dealt with that person before. I would not pay f+f for goods for a first dealing with someone unless they had a long standing on a forum, or I would simply pay the fee so at least there is some protection. £20 is not the end of the world, but it's you're £20 Oliverb and that's the bottom line and that has been taken from you with nothing in return. I have 800+ 100% feedback on ebay but the last few months, a lot of my sales are more trouble than they are worth and I am thinking of knocking ebay on the head because of scammers. I think a good rule for all is if you trust the buyer/seller use f+f, if not, agree the price without f+f or buyer pays the 5% so you have some protection with PP. Good luck and hope tealeaf cv does the right thing Thanks for saving me the effort to write what i think about it lol

OliverB I'm so sorry to hear about this (though have to admit i loved your OP - brilliant ) teethcv was last logged into the forum 3 days ago, so he is obviously still alive & has internet access. I'd be more than happy to add my name to the donation list, but just feel it would be helping teethcv get away with what he has done

Bit of a witch hunt. May have been a month but give Teeth the chance, always seemed a decent chap.

Will agree though, the OP was a good read

I'd only squander it again anyway. If anyone feels compelled to donate anything, please direct it here www.tamesideanimalshelter.co.uk/donate.htmlwhere it won't be wasted. You may have a point, Edge , but how long woiuld you give it? Two months? Six months? How many PMs would you send? He may well be a decent sort, but in this case, he didn't respond, so in the end, I left feedback in the feedback section.

Bit of a witch hunt. May have been a month but give Teeth the chance, always seemed a decent chap. I don't know the guy but I and friends on other forums have seen similar things happen. The fact that he has time to come on here while leaving Oliver B in the dark and seems to be ignoring the fact what he has done and not trying to rectify it is out of order. And a month for a simple sale is three weeks too long imho. If you're willing to take the money, then be prepared to deliver the goods I will hush now as I think you know my take on this sort of thing

Witch hunt my ar$e, bad form in my book. If you can't or won't deliver, don't sell. Once you've accepted someone's hard earned its your responsibility to keep your side of the transaction There are no excuses, if you can't deliver arrange to return the funds.

I always give the benefit of the doubt to people, never know what's going on in real life.

I remembered this morning that I have teethcv's mobile phone number - so I've just sent him a text message requesting that he addresses this issue ( or at least provides OliverB with a reasonable explaination/refund for non delivery. ) So we'll see if that brings anything.

On the other side of the coin, so to speak, RM lost a package delivered to me recently. I was red carded, put in for redelivery and it vanished! The difficulty was, it was paid by another member. Anyhoo, communication is paramount. Kept seller, payee informed of non progress throughout though it did turn up a couple of weeks later. Happy days all round and witty (IMO) messages flying around (from my end of course)
Bottom line, hope this gets resolved. Its never nice to think you've been ripped off

Wow that was some OP I ain't too clever with words but that was bloody poetic. I don't get any notification for PM's on here Is it because I use Tapatalk? I don't know but it is annoying because if I forget to check I then feel very ignorant when I eventually do. I wish this could be corrected (wink, wink Chrissie) Im just wondering if the same has happened to teethcv

Yes, not getting a reply to messages is infuriating. If I had a message saying 'stuff going on, you'll have to wait', I'd have waited, and probably forgotten about it after a bit. Hell, if I had a message saying 'ha, got your money, shove off', I'd have been miffed, but impressed with the effrontery.
Anyway, I've had my say and I'm happy to leave it alone now. Don't want it to spiral out of control over a relatively measly amount.
