The MHRA has the whole industry in its sights. They can just take everything specifically e-cig down. Totally enforceable. Read the rules.

Oh, and under MHRA guidelines, NRT is available to 12 year olds, by prescription.

And I'm really interested to know where you're going to get your legal nicotine to make this juice you mention...

Current indications are they will choose to go with option 2 ie., giving the unlicensed manufacturers of existing products an year to apply for a license.

A twelve year old being prescribed NRT from a controlled source for an existing addiction is completely different from one buying e-juice starting the path to addiction

You think MHRA are capable of enforcing the regulation and that they will also include batteries as part of the regulation. I don't.

I thought for a minute there you actually meant me Hifi, got a bit worried, I don't have skype, don't even have a mic as I use a desktop, so would have to buy a cam with one built in or a headset lol.... Thanks for the invite but I must decline as I don't think I am fully up to speed on the proceedings and haven't even finished reading the documents available on the MHRA consultation. I am also trying to understand the reasons why the RPC shot down the first IA. I have emailed the RPC to find out where we are with this and have received no response either. Still hopeful of a response.

Then there is the Dutch courts who threw out their regulation and the German ban overturned. So a lot of reading and catching up to do.

Regardless it shouldn't prevent anyone from tuning in as I am sure the matter is going to be discussed in multiple shows going forward till Spring 2013 and beyond.

No problem - if you've got two years worth of reading to get through it'll take some time - the first IA basically wasn't - it just wasn't done at all, never mind properly. MHRA thought they'd have a walk-over and got a bit of a shock when they didn't. They still haven't done a proper IA - hence the "we're compiling evidence and doing some research, seeya in a year or so".

Can't wait HiFi how long have you bring doing vapour trails tv? I would have the balls to do a live show the haze hour makes me laugh and is very informative , it's like two blokes having a conversation in a pub! It is a refreshing change from watching the tv and so down to earth

Just watching it now, I only caught the last 20 minutes live...

Can't believe he's got that case into court, when it is blatently his fault for using the wrong batteries. Is there a chance that, like with other mods I've seen for sale, this mod was originally listed on their site as vaping at 6v if you put stacked batteries in?

On the subject of people saying they used E-cigs to quit smoking. If that is such a problem why do we have the signatures, that say when our last cigarette was, and the section on the forums for posting anniversaries in. There is a hell of a lot of evidence that Ecigs are being used to quit smoking just by looking at the practices of this, and other forums, without even going into what people say, it's everywhere.
