Hey guys, I've got 2 ego-t batteries, a large and a small, and I picked up the large one while still attached to the clearo, and saw it had come apart. I've no idea how, but the metal part with the switch had come loose from the main black part, and was only held together by the connecting wires.
i managed to slot the metal switch part back in, and it still seems to work fine - but I'm wondering if it's still safe to use and to charge. What do you experts reckon? Thanks..

Need someone electrical to check really. Likely needs the top strong gluing back on when wires checked.

I can only suggest you bin it. Is £15 worth that risk?

Wow, guess you can't mess about with these batteries! Karma , the battery you mentioned says ego 1100 - would that work the same as my ego-t, and work with the same charger? My battery came with a 4.2V charger. And would the code you gave work with all the ego batteries on the site or just that one? Thanks a lot

scoops - if the charger is one where you screw the eGo battery onto the end of it, then yes, all of those batteries on that page that Karma linked to will fit and work. That code works site-wide too If you want something a little bit bigger with a lot more charge-life, you could try these Evod Mega 1900mah or this Ego Spinner 1600mah, and you will need one of these for the Evod Mega Charging cable. There is no code for Myepack, but their prices are already very competitive, and good service from them too!

New one arrived today - looks great Only trouble now is, I just dropped my smaller ego battery on the pavement - only realised when it was missing, and had to retrace my steps to find it! Reckon it's still ok to use?! The metal at the bottom is a bit nicked, but it still works. Cheers..

Difficult to tell without seeing it but if we all threw out our batteries/mods every time we dropped them we would have none left

I'll keep using it until it breaks or blows up

if its still workin should be fine. in my experience the board inside should stop it firing if theres any short in the wires from the battery.. My Mrs broke 1 and tried screwing it back together (bless her, shes a trier) which twisted the battery wires till they snapped and it still didnt blow up. It didnt work any more tho.
