I gotta reduce my nic!

Since getting a Smok (2 as it happens), a Cubis/Cuboid and istick 100W the first few hits after an hour from them are just too poky! This is on 12mg then reduced to 6mg still getting the oozy woozyness. 3mg looks like a plan. Thing is, this extends the lifetime expectancy of my stock of base to ... 14 years

I mix at 2 mg ATM but next lot (this weekend) will be at 1 mg and we will see how it go's.

I've been on zero nic for about 6 months now and find myself vaping less than ever. In fact over the last month or so when at work I don't usually Vape until around 15:30 on the drive home

So forme at least reducing nic doesn't increase the frequency of vaping, the exact opposite in fact

I think my couple of litres of nic I the freezer should last a while

My wife and i have dropped from an initial 18mg when we switched to vaping a year and a half ago, to 1 mg now. We dropped gradually to 16,12,8,6 and then 3mg last October, and have been on 1 mg since. I do think we vape more now though, but its not a problem as all our juice is diy.

4 ltrs of Nic in the freezer so we should be self sufficient for a good few years.

If I use the mini nautilus I find that anything les than 12mg and i'm craving a fag but on the subohm tanks I use somewhere between zero and 3mg I self mix some flavours (my all day ones) and those I mix up without the nic whichi add the day before I start using the bottle, often toping up with a fruit flavour and some extra pg

I don't see any need ot reduce the nic further though so i'll more than likely get through the half litre of the stuff in the freezer but it might take the best part of a decade lol.

also I find I can get through around 50 mills a week if I use the crown or tfv4 as my adv unit, but the flavours are superior to that from the subtank so I don't mind especially since I diy that juice

I've gone down in stages from 24 to 12 in the kfl+ and use 3 in the vcmt and drippers, haven't noticed any difference regarding how much I vape though so far, that seems to depend more on what I'm doing. If I'm occupied I find I can vape way less.

I'm back to work today, so will cut my juice consumption down quite a lot. I'll still be vaping the best part of 20ml per day, about 3 or 4 tanks of my Griffins, plus a bit of dripping late at night after the OH has gone to bed and I can haze up the dining room a bit!
I've just bought another 500ml of nic base, although I have about 200ml of the last bottle to go and that was bought nearly a year ago! Will probably get another 500ml sometime soon to tide me over until the TPD settles down.

We started out at 30mg nearly 18 months ago, and have dropped to 3mg. We did find that when we started using sub ohm coils that we needed to drop, so went quickly from 12mg to 6mg. Then gradually dropped to 3mg now. As I mix all our juices now, I expect to continue the drop till we reach zero. I see no rush to drop and probably drop 1mg in a month or so. As I have about 1.5lt of nic base we should be good for a few years, regardless of what TPD does to the nic market.

Interesting but not knowingly connected. I fancied something different tonight as I am countersigning school reports and wanted a new taste to vape while slogging away.

I went to my juice box and spied some Pink Spot 'Surf Rider', coconut and other fruitiness. Without thinking I popped some in my Velocity dripper, and nearly blew a hole in the back of my throat. On closer inspection I noticed that it was mixed at 10mg, and I'm currently on 2mg - no wonder! I am now in a quandary as to what to do with all my older juices which are now all too high nicotine for my delicate vaping muscles now

give them away to someone who hasn't progressed so low or alternatively get a low airflow MTL setup and take the higher strength juice for a spin,

i'm on between zero and 3mg on the sub ohm units but I still need around 12mg in the mini nautilus which is relegated to my out and about unit before being relegated to back in the box

Yeah, that's a good point nanotm, I really ought to treat myself to a Nautilus or something, and try out these by now well-steeped juices in a MTL setup. Not sure if I can remember how to do that now - I'm so used to DLI vaping, it would be a (re)learning curve!
