Just watch.
After twenty odd years of lies, the Truth came out.

Have tears rolling down my face watching that. Finally the truth that we all knew and believed for all these years has been made official. The families fought so long and hard for this.

Fair play to the families' tenacity in their fight for truth, honesty and justice. They have waited far too long for this

Incredibly moving . . . . the hell these families have been put through doesn't bear thinking about.

The only thing that has come from this is that the lies have been exposed. The reason for the tragedy remains the same. Which is why there are no fenced in areas at stadiums.
The lies happened after the event, and is a welcome outcome. However, the police who lied after the event, are not solely responsible, even though they should be brought to account.
Yes, they opened the side gate, but only to avert a crush happening outside the ground, and inadvertantly creating a worse one.
The organisers of the match need to be questioned too, as Hillsborough had close shaves prior to that tragedy.

It's not just that the lies have been exposed but as a result that those who died were unlawfully killed. I'd imagine that means a lot to those left behind. Having said that I think the stories of blood money are an absolute disgrace, I'm all for criminal justice for those who lied to cover up and blame the innocent but there's no way in my view anyone should would be making money out of this verdict.

Having been to anfield following the mighty seagulls in the cup game against them, i had the pleasure of mixing with the locals in pubs all day.
Im so chuffed for them that this has FINALLY come to end. Fantastic footballing people who welcomed us like we were their friends. Never experienced anything like that at any other away game.
Great to see the blues in the crowd mixing with the reds too!
Football aside... for the familes etc this must have been a huge drain on them all these years.

I was with a Scouse girl at the time of the tragedy, and was in Liverpool on that day with her family. The sympathy came from every one in the city, whether red or blue. Some families there are mixed red and blue. All they wanted back then was was an answer to how it happened. Now they know, I'm not sure it is enough. The wait for the truth may have changed their original wish.

Funny when I was a kid, Liverpool was the only team i knew Dalgleish, Souness etc since then football mehI don't really remember the incident, other things going on, but as spikes said, fair play to them for perusing this to the very end , well it's not ended yet I recon at least another 2 years maybe more, sooner it's dealt with the better though, it's gone on for far too long and cost the tax payer far too much, not the fans fault btw.

Words are not enough for how these families have fought and sacrificed all for the truth, yet for me, it seems to be not enough. The police chief was due to go in November anyway, so he gets full pension and pay off. He knew when he took the post and so did the home office that he would be sacrificed for the press.
Politicians need to be held to account as do home office officials as they knew what was going on and the cover-ups that were being played out. The top brass at this level dont make decisions on their own and take advice and guidance from higher up.
Yes, Cameron and his government will say "sorry", but will still protect when they can.
It maybe just my age now, but as I get older I have not trust in our political or judicial system. Corruption from the top down.

The people responsible for the official lies after the event should be doing time. No arguments with that. However, to say that the fans rushing in bear no responsibility is ridiculous. Someone was shoving hard enough to cause all these deaths. They've been nicely keeping their heads down for decades, while still enjoying the wendyball. Most of the dead and injured had been in the ground for some time, so obviously can't bear any blame. As for making money out of it, just wait and see.

It maybe just your age, but it's not mine, I've never had any trust from any age in either establishment. Politicians and judiciary protected by parliament, the police = criminals in disguise.
