The only person contemplating buying nic from China is digicig as he's there. I've never heard of anybody buying it on here whether retail or wholesale.

i used to www.e-cig.com/e-liquid-all/e-liquid-base but they only ship dhl/fed ex so works out more expensive than uk as i only buy 1 litre

I have me first Chinese nicotine in process - and will post a 'review' when it arrives next week - 1L of 36mg 60/40 PG/VG (forgot to pay attention ) and to me in China $32 delivered - seems pretty good - but the proof is in the pudding so will wait and see.

Also of course have no way of checking the actual nic content

I know most buy from darkstar etc was just curious from a tpd point of view. Perhaps it'll become more of a thing once that's in effect. I am aware of that but cheers anyway, wouldn't want to get in a pickle over ignorance. I use darkstar and the ecig shop (same nic I believe) it's very very good. Just exploring other options if indeed there are any. I thought china would have more of a market they sell pretty much everything else!

Living here - i would have doubts about many companies as far as the accuracy of their testing

The company i found - via Facebook - does seem 'better' than some - so ordered the lowest nic (36mg) they do to try - and some flavours.

It's my understanding that it was an offence under the Poisons Act 1972 to sell nicotine over 75mg/ml but I've been unable to find any mention of restrictions on its importation. 

Regardless, last year's Deregulation Act created several changes to the Poisons Act 1972 in relation to the pharmaceutical sale of poisons including scrapping the so-called Poisons Licences (actually a list of registered sellers administered by each local authority).
Under the new Schedule 1A of the amended Poisons Act, EPP licences - now issued centrally by the Home Office - are required for even the possession (let alone purchase) of only the most dangerous chemicals (categorised as 'regulated') while the less dangerous - including nicotine - and categorised as 'reportable', may be legally supplied without a licence provided the request is not suspicious.

As far as I'm aware that is actually a Chinese company, that may have an office/etc. in the US, although this is not obvious at a first glance from their website.
Their quality certification is Chinese: here 
Their "online live support (from Monday to Saturday, China Time)"

They have been known for some time for selling irresponsibly dangerous concentrations of nicotine.

Why bother

That could apply to any purchase from China, but most of us do buy from there. At the start of my vaping experience I bought eliquid from China and Europe.
Why bother? Price.
