Evod's, ProTank and Davide Mini's - all take the same coil heads - which are easy to fill, pretty much leak free - and Cheap to run And still in daily use for me . . . . along with iClear16's!

I am still old school and use Evod, s, Protank and the I 16s. They are easy to rebuild, or they was till arthritis struck, but I have a stash of new heads, they are cheap enough to buy.

Actually this thread reminded me of whats in my retro vape drawers (gathering dust) I had been scratching my head over what to put on my provari classic (max 15 watts) My spheroids go on my provari v2! So have just set up one of my atmistique divers (that I normally use in my billet box tanks) into my cage tank by Leo and its a bloody lovely vape! Why have I relegated these to the back of the drawer? It looks gorgeous on there and its nice and short so no lightsaber! I'd have been tempted to get another (as vapegear have them for £14.99) but only in polished and I like brushed...

I do think protanks/aerotanks (and clones thereof) tend to get overlooked these days.... they're all I use sub-ohm stuff and lung inhales just don't float my boat

Hello all, Well the EVODs arrived and apart from the first one I tried not working (dud coil), I must say I'm quite encouraged. But they could do with a bit more 'bang', but I think that may be my fault and that I might have made yet ANOTHER error (this trial and error thing is getting expensive). I bought them from vapourised.co.uk and ordered 4 x 5 packs of coils with them. Now the only coils they seem to stock are 2.8ohm but I've now noticed elsewhere that you can buy as low as 1.5ohm. Would this make much of a difference do you think? Using cartomizers I found there was quite a difference between the 2ohm and 3ohm versions, so is 1.5ohms where I need to be with these?

vcmazz Would you like a wee 5 pack of lowish ohm (can't recall. no higher than 2.2ohms) SOCC evod heads sending . I got them for emergency in a similar tank (I love kayfuns - similar to what you have but more faff!!) If you would just pm snail address and I'll send them to you Tis what we do on here - hugs and sure you'll get your vape sorted soon - what you have sounds way too high on the resistance (ohms) - yes you can buy 1.5/1.8?/2.2 ohm heads and you'll enjoy them more than the 2.8ohms Jane PS It'll be friday before I can send them and will be 2nd class post? Is that ok?

Thank you very, very much Jane for sending me some 2.2 and 1.8 heads to try. I have a 1.8 on the go now and wow! Such a big difference! I only wish I hadn't wasted money on 4 packs of 2.8s now lol. Still, we live and learn eh? Thanks again to Jane and to all of you for your advice and help. I am finally sorted!

Keep the 2.8ohm heads vcmazz - they might come in handy one day and now place a fast tech order for 50 1.8ohm socc heads (see links on this thread) - that's all you have to do!
