As regards the original question I believe Perpetua has Nic at about 4 years under ice conditions. Over 5 years now some of my stash calnorth. If you're not permitted to use your family freezer and don't have anyone who would keep some for you @kopiert, then the next best thing you could do is to decant your base into amber glass bottle(s) it's the best colour for preventing degradation . . . . and find the coldest dark place possible to store it. How about a cool bag with some ice blocks as a thought? That should give you a couple of years at least for it to be usable.

What do you mean calnorth? The last sentence! So i guess i should be thinking about buying extra now then. Im down to 2-3mg now so it lasts a while but its best i have a fair bit. I don't trust anybody around things like this...so get in there I'd say. Certain plants in this world produce Nicotine to fight off/dispel insects that eat their leaves. Can't quite remember their names, but a scan of Google will reveal. I once did similar with tobacco seed in my green house...the Virginia plant. Worked well as regards growing but failed on drying them out...fungus! I was also wondering if the Nicotine we use is synthetic or au naturel (from plants) I believe it's all the Nightshade family: Potato, tomato, aubergine and peppers. I doubt it is practical with anything other than tobacco leaves.

I was also wondering if the Nicotine we use is synthetic or au naturel (from plants) As far as I can remember, the main UK pharmaceutical manufacturer of nicotine products (my previous supplier) uses nicotine sulphate as a raw ingredient, which is then processed into pure nicotine and other nicotine related products/compounds. I presume that the nicotine sulphate is likely derived/extracted from (tobacco) plants. I'm unsure what the other Swiss manufacturer uses, or whether they import Asian partly purified nicotine and then refine further.

Ive heard a few times in USA most there's is produced from egg plants.(not sure if true) Yes, aubergine = eggplant "Nicotine is a natural product of tobacco, occurring in the leaves in a range of 0.5 to 7.5% depending on variety. Nicotine also naturally occurs in smaller amounts in plants from the family Solanaceae (such as potatoes, tomatoes, and eggplant)." - from Wikipedia
Nicotine could be derived from the above, but AFAIK tobacco leaves are primarily used. Note: for eggplant above, 100 (nanograms / gram) = 1.0 × 10 -5 % = 0.00001% ...... so amount tiny compared with tobacco.

I am going to fight for my right....to freeze Within two years I hope to be nic free, so there's a target Nick

Its a chemistry question and I'm sure at the molecular level stuff is going to change in contact with air. Whats in that air is something else. Simply observe what happens to metals. Everything relates to time and its the time taken to degrade. The funny thing is, the thing that gives life, is the same thing that destroys everything. Oxygen. And it makes up about 21% of air. Edit: Actually, it's not funny, more ironic

I'm only on 2mg right now so I'm giving it a bash when they have steeped If my maths is right a litre of 72mg nic @ 2mg juice will give you 36 litres. If you vape 10ml per day that will last almost 10 years. If you sub-ohm it will last about six weeks Then again my maths might be very wrong
