Greg bit cheeky not fessing up yourself. I reckon less than most enthusiast because I mix my own liquid mainly one flavour so ATM it costs 2.5 p per ml and I have used 9.8 l in the last 920 days, so under £100 per year. I have stopped buying cheap mods and clone mods and tanks that get rejected after a week and now just buy what I know I will use say £100 a year on tanks and £200 on mods, plus sundries say £50 makes about £450 a year, but with some of the less wise purchase I have mad in the past probably spent £5-6k in total. VapingBad I haven't fessed up because I have absolutely no idea how much I've spent hence my question to see if others had a better handle on things. As your likely aware I quit a couple of weeks ago and I'm working up go buying a big old storage box to tidy nearly everything away. When I do that I'll have a stab at rotting things up. At least I have the benefit of selling very very little on so what I've bought I still have, even if it's turned its toes up I didn't know that you'd stopped vaping Greg...you won't stop coming here will you? I'm a bit flabbergasted, & I don't even know why I feel that

I'm still in negative equity.... That's was always going to be the case after regularly importing hand rolling tobacco from various places. Can't complain mind you; my health is better and my wealth is invested in shiny zombie protection hardware.

Rumour has it any vaper who quits and disproves the theory of gateway addiction to tobacco (and jam doughnuts) is on the MI6 list as "suspected Alien"...

I have no idea what I've spent, & to be honest, I don't care. I know I have been fortunate in recieving gifts from e.g. paulymeatballs, that I use daily, & a Mr Anonymous, & of course my @windows mod that was presented to me...I truly am a lucky wee woman

Don't forget everyone juice isn't cheap unless you DIY which I do for about half of my vaping.Manabush is my main treat but £40 for 100ml it soon adds up.One bottle a month equates to £480 per year so you may spend a bit more then you think.Personally I don't care what I spend as it's a new way of life for me which I thoroughly enjoy and we get nice holidays thrown in as well.Cheers

I was never a heavy smoker but even so I reckon I've saved money. Money isn't the main issue for me though. I've successfully packed up smoking after 36 years and have not the slightest desire to return to it.
The main plus for me though is remembering the self loathing for giving in to an addiction every time I bought a packet of fags. I don't get that any more. I've got a cupboard full of interesting gadgets and no regrets.

Too bl**dy much and a darn sight more than the fags would have cost icon_shoppingm but I think I have now gotten a hold & my orders have decreased significantly the past couple of months, so I may break even in another couple of years

In nearly 18 months vaping I'd say I've probably spent about 1500 quid on vape gear. Unfortunately my mod prices have gone up since I fell in love with high end stab wood mods and decided I was no longer going to use any clones

19mths, spent £3726 which sounds quite high but covers both of us. But compared to what we would have spent which is £11,720 on fags no wonder the money men want a slice of this pie.

I don't think I've spent more than about £2000 on two of us in just under 2 years (I've mixed my own juice for most of that time). But I may be wrong. It may be twice that. I do know that it's less than smoking. I also have hardware to show for it, unlike smoking, even if some (a fair amount) is either kaput or retired. And I am consequentially richer. And most importantly, healthier!.
So I don't care one whit Tease-smiley

I dont have anyway of working it out tbh. But id imagine its around the 2 grand mark for just over 2 years of vaping.
Last few months have been great as i was pestered into diy. That really has saved me a fortune. Hardware gas slowed down due to being content with what ive got. Only seem to buy something that really stands out for me now...rather than buying every new tank that comes out every five minutes lol

I reckon I spent about £2000 on the first year. I know that because I saved £5000 and at the end of that year we spent £3000 on a caravan as a wee treat to us both. Probably spent just a bit less on year two but used the savings to do up the van and some holidays for ourselves. After that all my spare cash went on the house, garden, vaping shed and vaping stash for the future. I reckon on not spending anything I need on vaping for at least the next 4 years, although I may succumb to a little shineyitis from time to time.
