Hi there had 3 parcels land at heathrow DC on the 20th of may. 2 of which landed through my letter box 3 days later , but the 3rd one is still sitting at heathrow DC. How long should I wait before i get worried its lost and how long do i need to wait until I can claim through paypal for not getting the goods. Iv'e ordered tonnes of things in the past from fastech and never had one stuck this long at heathrow. Thanks

baggieboy999 Normally 3 weeks after it has been tracked at the WDC @ Langley (Heathrow) I have put in a query to FastTech - make sure you tell them you have already been in touch with RM and they have told you to speak to the sender (because that is what RM say) - it will then take 60 working days (2 months at least) before they will agree it is lost and either refund or replace the items, have had this happen to me a few times in the past.

What does the package you were waiting on contain? It doesn't contain no batterys just drip tips and couple of tanks but it does contain a pico which may look like it contains a battery . Not sure if this is why it might be held up.

I've had a Tesla Nano from FT that has been in the country but stuck in processing from the 21st of last month. I'm starting to get a bit twitchy!

Panic over, my baby is here. Must have been in the same customs basket as my gear. Mine was delivered today after arriving in the UK on the same day as yours. Can't beat new toys for the weekend.

Heathrow always gets my gear to me a day or two after. So far. Seen some horror stories of lost packages being looted before eventually being chased up and delivered with half the stuff missing. Warehouse staff are *****, I should know I am one

I'm guessing that FastTech (and all the other non-EU retailers selling direct to EU consumers) haven't registered with each member state that will permit cross-border e-cig sales as required by the TPD so - depending on the instructions given to UK customs - it's entirely possible that parcels found to be containing 'notifiable' products (eg. atomisers, nicotine-containing liquids) will be confiscated or returned at the sender's considerable expense. Sources: Tobacco Products Directive (pdf), Article 18 (page 24) UK law - Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 (pdf), section 47 (page 28) MHRA's guidance page - Tobacco products and e-cigarette cross-border sales registration

A couple companies are bringing out 2ml compliant tanks already so they are obviously thinking about it. I think smok are going with the tank extension loophole with their micro tfv4. I'm expecting an order soon hope I don't get hit with this crap

Ah right my bad. I still doubt it though

Thankfully the Chinese vendors have a tendency to write the labels as electronic parts, toys etc. so the customs won't know that they're vaping related.
