Kane did not look sharp against Russia and the same again today against Wales. Therefore I think it was a good sustitution today. However I would say that Kane is a much more "rounded" and contributory player than Vardy, but Vardy did look sharp today. As to Sterling, I think he has got a bit lazy, he's in the club where he wanted to be with a big lump of money in the bank. He no longer seems to want to run at and probe the oppositions defence and his final ball is poor, he missed a practically open goal today. Good job Woy!

I got laughed at when I told the lads to get on Spain o2.5 team goals before the match. Monies and getting to be smug, win win!
No team had scored 3 before Spain and although their first match and their final friendly were disappointing, they are playing well.

Has the Kane & Sterling bubble burst? ... just asking Also Rashford did well for the time he was on, didn't phase him one bit. No bubble to burst with Kane, he is the real deal. Alas he's shattered after being just about our only striker for two seasons. The less said about Stirling, the better. I still can't believe City paid around 10x as much for him as we got Alli for

Said that at the time the Spuds signed him as i'd seen him play a couple of times for Franchise Town before he moved. Sterling is just a waste of money and his attitude stinks. Whose your tip for the tournament BrenD ? I've a little money on France. (some good players, home advantage and wanting to do it for the nation after last November's horrific events)

(some good players, home advantage and wanting to do it for the nation after last November's horrific events) I knew he was good when we signed him, but I didn't think he was going to be straight into the first team and an England regular at the end of his first season good. I can't get too attached, we can fend off anyone in England for his services, but like Bale as soon as 'arry pushed him forward, I feel he is just passing through. I hope I'm wrong! I've got a tenner on Ze Germans. But that's mainly because of the Skybet £3 freebie for every match they win offer. I thought they'd take maximum points in their group and go reasonably deep into the tournament. Again I hope I'm wrong. My heart says 2nd half against Wales but not the Russia/1st half England, my head says Spain.

I thought Spain were a done force when they dropped Mata and Costa. They might prove me wrong. I've only got a tenner on France, just thought for the reasons mentioned above, they might have something to prove. Until tonight, no team had scored more than two goals and games were tight. But, yeh write off the Germans at your peril, although an unfancied Italian team is doing quite well at the moment. Could be interesting. PS glad that Payet is doing well, and adding value to his price, but can we keep him? I hope so, i really do.
