Given that so much of the Tournament coverage has sadly and understandably focused on the negative aspect of the matches due to the mindless element from various countries.

I thought it might be nice for those of us who enjoy watching the sporting challenges for what they are and ought to be about, to have our own discussion/rambling/cursing thread.

I don't do Club Football, but I've always followed the EURO's and World Cup avidly - despite the pain of various England matches.

Happily I'm not working today so it's a prompt dog walk for us, then I can settle down for hopefully some good, entertaining football at 2pm!

Gareth Bale is all I'm saying in regards to England's success . . . . . or failure.

How are Russia in the Euro league?

Russia being a non European country

Looking forward to the game today,stop Bale and we have a chance,no free kicks within Bale distance.I would put Sturridge up front with Kane and bring Vardy with 30 mins to go,they will be tired and Vardy is like a greyhound.As for the trouble when you have a Russian MP saying he is proud of the Russian fans,they are fighting for their country,and everybody goes to matches for a fight,what hope is there.

I think the best team won. Wales are very much a one trick pony which is quite appropriate given his hairstyle although I'd think the pony would have a less squeaky voice

I nearly switched off at half time... same old carp!

Wales certainly played with heart, and they are still in with a good chance of progressing... but how could a top goalie not stop a shot from 30+ yards with all the time to prepare, totally out of position.

Certainly a better second half, but they will need to take a lot more of their chances if they want to go further. Let's hope both go through.

Without wanting to sit on the fence..i hope england continue, but i do hope our welsh cousins progress too.

As raffles said...we need to take the chances we get if we are going to get anywhere in this comp.
