HELP!

So somehow messing with a demijohn full of custard last night I managed to push the rubber cork right down into it.
So now it's stuck in there and I ain't got a clue how to get it out.
So the cork in a bottle mission is game on.
Obviously I don't want to smash the demijohn and I'm appealing to everyone for suggestions?
It must have been done before and surely there's a simple solution?
So come on guys & gals

Aha well I transferred the custard into another demijohn last night.
Guess what!
3 bags and half a dozen attempts and POP!
It came out,

Apparently this technique for removing corks from bottles is used to aid childbirth in developing countries so not only has it saved jtc juice, but it saves lives!
