lol, I go through phases, there is something about tc that just doesn't always hit the spot Either it's the super fast heating that seems to miss out on the lower temperature range of flavour or having to go past the cool vape to get the warmer notes. Much prefer nichrome at 0.3 >0.4 ohms with a dripper.

I'm using this and very impressed. Minimal ramp and does what I expect. Ive never tried nichrome

OMG this fused clapton is amazing. I like clouds and flavour but this is like unreal in my herakles. Yup I think power mode with this wire is my ultimate vape. Beware anyone trying this setup as wow you'll kill ya juice off quick

Basically from a coil making view 80/20 has approximately 25% lower resistance than Kanthal A. Ramp-up time is also between SS and kanthal. Its softer and easy to work with although not quite as soft as SS316 and doesn't give the ferric taste that some people can get from Kanthal. Annd you get those pretty coils when you dry fire and pulse them. Some people don't like the idea of nickel and chrome but you still get the same amount of chrome with kanthal. Never mind the whole pot of other metals that make up stainless ....Nichrome 80/20 is 20-23% chromium, under 1% iron with the remainder being nickel instead of being 20-23% chromium alloyed with 6% Aluminum and 70-73% iron.
