I am still trying to understand the math on this;

5ml x10mg juice
5ml x 6mg juice
will be 8mg in strength

Bear with me here, that is 16mg juice mixed, reduced by 4mg the difference between the 10 and the 6 mg, How does that become 8mg?
The teacher used to throw me out of maths class to go and do sports...I was the best in the whole school!

You're doing the math the wrong way round phoenix

You're diluting the 10mg with 6mg, not adding, so the difference is the average of the 2 strengths 8mg

You've got double the amount.

If you mixed 2 x 10ml of 15mg juice, you would have 20ml of still 15mg juice. Not 30mg. Just makes sense when you think about it like that.

Therefore with the same 2 amounts being added together, you average out the nic rating of the 2.
So 10+6/2=8

If you added 10ml of 10mg and 5ml of 6mg, then it would be 10+10+6/3= 8.67mg


The easiest way if you are mixing large quantities of liquid is to break it down into ml multiplied by the nic content.


So

10 (ml) x 10 (mg) =100 +
5 (ml) x 6 (mg) =30
=130

divided by the quantity of ml /15 = 8.67 !

Or get one of those online calculator thingies

It's simply an average calculation.

Let me see if I have got this right;

10ml of 20mg
10ml of 8mg
Will give me 24mg( 20mg & 8mg=28mg divided by 2 =24mg)

Have I got that bit right?

no that would give you 14mg add the 2 then divide by 2 pheonix

so 20+8=28 divided by 2 =14
