Well the pyromaniacs are back again at my flats, fire alarm went off about 30 minutes ago, went out to the landing to see what's what, opened the door to the stairwell and got knocked on my arse by heat and smoke.
Knocked on all the other doors on the landing to alert everyone else it wasn't a false alarm and called 999.
As far as i can gather from the cops etc outside some shit stain wheeled a moped or a motorbike into the foyer downstairs where the stairwell is and torched it.
Still stuck in the flat but apparently the fire is now out they are just clearing the smoke.

Yeah i'm fine and from what i can tell nobody is seriously hurt or anything, the Paramedics were seeing to a couple of people across the hall a bit groggy from the smoke i think, whole gaff stinks like a bonfire.
Is starting to seem like someone has a weird fascination with this particular block though it's the third fire that's been set now in under 18 months and they must be a ninja i assume because there are CCTV cameras inside where the entrance is and in the stairwell indoors and outside the entrance too but nobody gets nicked for it.

I hope they are caught soon - and before they get to go again. Hopefully by someone who can, errr... make them properly understand the error of their ways before handing them off to the proper authorities.

Here's the lovely site i woke up to today, the stair rail by the way is actually white it's just caked in soot.











Not only do these clowns decide to set a fire they decide to set it in the building's only exit.
Well there is a lift but A: you're not supposed to use a lift if there's a fire and B: even if you did when it gets to the ground floor the doors open up right at where the fire was anyway.

Found a couple of coppers stationed by the main entrance had no idea they had been out there all night, apparently they have to guard the place until the fire service say it's safe and do whatever they need to do for their investigation.
No suspects or arrests made as far as they are aware yet.

Was speaking with one of my neighbours this morning he said around 10pm he saw a bloke in a grey hoody setting a small fire next to another neighbours motorbike outside where it was parked, he told the other neighbour and when they checked that fire had gone out so the bike owner decided to wheel the bike into the stairwell area indoors thinking it would be safe there, apparently this joker had other plans and returned at midnight and set fire to the bike inside the flats.
