Okay, so just busy getting an order from Darkstar sorted, and thought I would go onto of the kitchen cupboard to see what my old (2013) stash of nic was like. Well this is it, should it get tossed, or do people think it is still fine, it has no smell to it? I also have shed loads of flavours that I guess I should dispose of too all from the same period.

I personally would mix a small 10 ml sample and try it before throwing it all away ok yes it has gone a bit dark but still worth a try if it is rank (peppery) then bin it but it may well still be ok.

If you are going to bin it anyways, bin it my way and I will add it to the 2 litres of NicVape 75MG that is in my freezer and exactly the same colour as that. I have no intention of binning mine. I don't see a colour difference in nicbase making any difference at all. Most of my mixes take on a colour change once mixed.

It will have oxidised in that time davemorton especially as you've not had it stored in glass or in cold storage . . . . but that doesn't mean it necessarily has gone off, the smell would be a good indicator if it had. As @broadblaster has said, try a small mix using it and see.

I'm vaping some Nicotine from VE. 2013 Vintage. It's fine. Try it out before you call it lost to the world.

I'd vape that nic. Especially if I was running low. But then, my taste is shot. And I was silly enough to willingly inhale eleventy bazillion weird arsed nasty chemicals in smoke for many years. So I clearly have no sense .... *shrug* Prolly better listening to the sensible advice already offered earlier!

As it is from the USA = A very good chance it will have the antioxidant Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in a 0.01% or lower concentration added This helps prevent/stop it from smelling and can help slow the colour change in VG nicotine base but does nothing to prevent the colour change in PG Your best to make a batch and see if it tastes OK -- OK = not to peppery for your taste. Please note: Don't all rush to add Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) to your nicotine base as it is an antioxidant that can /will extend your steeping time and turns PG nicotine darker.
